Trout tip Number 1 Ditch the gangs go to mustard 8/0 Tip 2 fish bean sinker on hook as the bait needs to be on the bottom not flying in the current but dont knock them out with 1/2 a pound of lead Tip 3 if snaged jigal like a tea bag Tip 4 Pillys are top bait put hook through eye then top of body Tip 5 fish big tides up shalow flow on side of reef under bait schools small tides fish the black patchers Tip 6 if your not catching fish within 10 min move to new spot and keep doing so Tip 7 if you catch for eg 10 fish and then a small cod time to move to next spot Tip 8 if you see a turtle floting in one spot looking up then down fish that spot it is called a turtle spy Tip 9 fish in back eddys on the edge of main reef Tip 10 look at the colour of the trout your mate is catching and that will tell you the depth of water to fish in . with all these pro tips i expect to see more trout hit the ice box Mate .also you need to go into more detail about fishing for blue bone a bit vage on the rig and baiting the crabs if you want to know more about how to fish th GBR for othe fish let me know after 15 years on the reef i was still learning every day

@@_OuterLine Trout are easy to catch you have what it takes just keep it simple for eg i used a hand line i was able to catch 100 kg of fish a day on average when doing it for a job also a pilly under a float about 4foot down out the back is deadly on spanyards you can use your gang hooks for this it is worth the efit particusly under the bait fish hooking into a 15 kg plus spanyo would make great viewing if codie was atached to it haha hope this helps

I was at middle creek last week. Rode in from the black top on my postie with inflatable fishing SUP. Plenty of muddies caught because you can get to places on a moto + walking or SUP that no one in a tinny can access. Great spot to camp up above the long drops if you don't have a boat to keep an eye on. Noticed in the vid that the track up to it was taped off when you were greeted by old mate. Any idea why?

She come up really well I was suprised, ceramic coat actually worked pretty good!

Did you know the depth of water you were in getting the small reds ? Iv found 75 ft and deeper for legal reds only juvenile hang in shallow water

We were only in about 35m their mate. I like 45 to 70m for the big reds. But you never know!
