Any DM that targets their players by using their personal secrets to harass them deserve to be warned, and if they don't heed the warning, then they get shunned. It won't be easy, but it will spare everyone a whole lot of pain.

That person calling themselves a DM needed a massive @$$ kicking for what he did. Broke his word, broke the trust of his players, and nearly ruined the game for someone just coming in. Not to mention the IRL bs he pulled. There is too much of those kinds of @$$holes already making it harder for decent people. NEVER BE AFRAID TO SPEAK OUT AGAINST PEOPLE LIKE THAT!

About 2 and a half minutes into the story, I already got the feeling that the favoritism in the first session was because of a crush the DM had on the newbie and the directly targeting with enemies was due to her rejecting him in between sessions.

What a gross DM! Sexually harassment is bad enough, but when you abuse your authority (in this case, as a DM) and use it to your advantage against someone new and inexperienced, it’s just low and vulgar

Why is the title worded as a question?

YIRBEL LIVES..ok i'm noticing a trend here, why are all these titles asking the audience about a moral dilemma on someone who's clearly an asshole? I can get needing approval over a difficult situation but I'd rather get it from a friend or someone closer than passerby's on the web.

I think the longer story went into the how the gorl had asked for there not to be any SA themes, because she was a survivor of SA. So DM was purposely using that to target her

I found out my friend was being "Harassed" he had Ripped clothing doing unwanted stuff (Fill in the gaps) by another friend, he then invited her back and was trying to gaslight her and told her to drop it or else "THINGS" would happen, we had to go there to get something , and we walked in he had a shit eating grin and looked at her with a almost Predatory look and she just became hysterical and started crying I asked her what was wrong and she spilled the beans, i just stood up apparently there was no emotion on my face and looked him in the eye and i Told him to leave or i WOULD kill him and if i ever saw his face again he was going to Die, he ran out the door (It was his place) we grabbed every thing that was ours and hers and left, he moved 3 months latter after he found a new flat up north (Far away from us) and never heard from him again, she got help (I Arranged it) and she got better and was close to her old self - but my friends said that was the scariest thing they ever saw from me, as the minute he left i apparently went back to being my lovable self and was just trying to be helpful and Supportive - I found out he had done this shit before and beat up the girl to put Fear in her

These kind of people are the worst. I say it as a GM and i say it as a father of two jung girls: Show your players and your kids that they can always talk to you about things they find weird an confusing. A lot of sexuall harasment has it´s origin because the victim decides to stay quiet our of fear that a) nobody would believe or b) they don´t like to make a fuss because they are insecure Heard this storry so many times: Girl gets molested by other player/gm/family member/close friend. If somebody in my group of friends would do something like this i will kick his ass myself.

Some people are wonderful…until they start to interact with someone they’re attracted to. It’s a real thing, and something I’ve seen on a number of different people. Seems like a great person until you learn how awful they are to their (prospective or actual) romantic partners, in which you see a completely new side of them. I think the dm is one of those people

The title is MASSIVELY missleading. Whenever there is a question (like in previous videos) it implies the OP doesn't know the answer himself. But this DM was just a horrible, horrible person, and even the OP doesn't doubt that.

One thing I love about this channel that you can quite fast none of these stories ever happened… but I admire autors imagination.

John did exactly what you are *NOT* supposed to do with this level of crap! If you REALLY want to play the "Make the players uncomfortable" rule, do what they did at session 0, set boundaries of how far is too far, and if a player or DM outright says they do not feel comfortable about something, treat it as taboo! It's been said time and again, NO D&D is better than BAD D&D.

This whole story is so wrong. The DM is obviously an absolute creep, but why do the "friends" of this poor girl keep allowing his behaviour? I know in other cases these things are more subtle but this was so blatant to everyone at the table, which the author notes, and yet nobody does anything to stand up for the girl who is stated multiple times to be shy and non-confrontational. I think she needs new friends, not just a new DM, because those people did nothing to help her

I wouldn't be so sure. My old DM actually did this once to another player, and got mad when I told him to frick off when he tried hitting on me as well, since I'm not into guys, and even if I was, he honestly set off red flags anyway. Dude has no concept of consent or self control, pretty sure last I heard he got arrested as well. Literally the last thing he said to me when I left his group was "you'll never be pretty as a girl!" This coming from a man who hit on me despite having never even seen me and barely knowing me at all outside of d&d, and despite knowing I'm not into guys. Some people are insane.

Considering the stigma female players have in gaming even today, this doesn't sound that far-fetched. Maybe exaggerated a bit, but still plausible (considering I read a story about a RPGA game at a con where the author (female) was getting shut down at the table by the DM while the male playing the busty (and apparently jiggly) female character being was encouraged to be a complete sl*t. The author wanted to complain to the regional director (or whatever the title is), only to find the DM WAS the regional director)

Can't deny what the DM did was messed up, but also gender is only biological. "John" probably thought that nobody would think he was gay if he got with the confused guy as a "girlfriend". But still went about it the wrong way and the whole group should press charges against John and everyone could use therapy after that craziness. John also probably felt backed against a corner cause his family is homophobic and figured "Alice" was a safe option. John's parents are probably also abusive so he doesn't know how dating should work. Hard to say, but people aren't born crazy. It's also pretty sad that some people don't realize that they're being abused and/or lied to
