Lysa was talking about her first pregnancy that Hoster made her end with moon tea, a result of bedding Petyr (probably when he was drunk and thought she was Cat). Jon Arryn was old when he and Lysa wed, it was implied that their trouble conceiving was likely due to the after effects her having to end a pregnancy (or 2 or 3) and the age of her husband’s slow little swimmers.

No absolutely wrong, Petyr Baelish impregnated Lysa when they were teenagers in Riverrun, and she was deeply in love with him, that she wanted to keep the baby. But when Lord Hoster Tully learned of this, he made her drink moon tea to abort the child (that's why she's screaming give me another baby). In court, Littlefinger manipulated Lysa most effectively by denying her sex, until he made her kill her husband, so Robert Arryn is definitely Jon Arryn's son. Him being weakly has everything to do with the way he was spoiled by his overprotective mother.

I totally agree with you about Robin being weak because of Lysa. But I personally like to think that she is overprotective of him because she believes (or wants to believe) that he is Petyr's son. Edit: I know Robin is not Petyr's son but it just seems more believable to think so seeing her obsession with Petyr and the way she treats Robin when he is the son of a man she doesn't like. I also think she is projecting her obsession with Petyr on her son but then again she is crazy and it's just a matter of opinion. 😅

I wouldn’t use Lysa as a barometer of what one could consider “good in bed.” 😂

He is not the father. Before marriage, lysa was impregnated once by petyr. That was what lysa meant by another baby screms. That first baby was aborted by Lysa's father Hoster fearing dishonour to her, her house and Riverlands as a whole. Due to little finger low station, marrying them was not an option.

Lysa was referring to her first pregnancy before she married John. Hoster made her drink tansy tea and that’s why he keeps calling for tansy when he’s dying. He’s remembering what he did to Lysa and he is shamed by it. There was another bit of info that was slipped through these conversations though. Little Finger keeps telling everyone that he took cats maiden head but he really didn’t. That was Lysa. He thought it was Cat because of his fever and that’s why he called Lysa “Cat” before he fell asleep. I don’t think he ever really knew that it wasn’t Cat that came to him.

Except lysa was excited by Jon Arron saying the seed is strong on his death bed. Thinking he meant his own seed.

I feel like as someone who makes these videos often that you know this isn't true. It's well known that Lysa got pregnant by little finger when they were young and was forced to get rid of the child. Robyn is also too young for him to be said child.

To be fair, Lysa hadn't been with a man in a long time. She was so ready that even the pimp of king's landing could satisfy her. What's always weird to me about Littlefinger is he could easily rule the vale through Lysa and Robyn, but he is deadset on murdering them to get involved in some really stupid plan to seduce Sansa and rule winterfell instead. Winterfell that is by the way burnt to the ground and ruled by pirates at this time.

Only through Robyn could Littlefinger effect any control over the Vale of Arryn. Without him it would be like trying to run the North without a Stark's blood. His plan was likely to get Robyn married to Sansa and then get her pregnant himself prior to murdering Robyn so that his son would be in control of the Vale. After leaving his on in control of the Vale he could relocate to Winterfell and make himself another heir there to rule it. Also he already had Harrenhal through his deal with the Lannisters so that's an extra boatland of land further south too. By the time the dust settled he would have controlled more land by himself or through his children than any individual since the last Targaeryen king Aerys.

This made me realize that I've not seen a dedicated short or a video about Jon Arryn yet. Strange...

My guess was that Petyr and Lysa were having an affair in The Red Keep, right under Jon Arryn's nose. And she most likely had to stay quiet when they did it as to not raise suspicion. Because they were already playing a dangerous game with spies everywhere. So, when they're finally wed in the legal sense, she no longer has to keep quiet, so she screams because she doesn't have to keep it a secret anymore. The baby might refer to the child she was originally carrying when she had her non consensual way with Petyr when he was still a ward at Riverrun. But, I subscribe to the notion that Sweet Robin is Littlefinger's bastard. Jon Arryn wasn't known to be sickly according to Ned, and The Stark kids who took to the Tully seed had aburn air. So, I'm willing to bet that Robin is a bastard that's slowly being poisoned by his own father.

You seem to be forgetting the fact that Petyr got Lysa pregnant when they still in Riverun. It's much more likely this is what she's referring to.

I’m not saying I’m right because everything is left ambiguous about everything so all we can do is have spirited debates about our own opinions. I don’t remember little finger being sickly, just small. I don’t think even grrm knows how to wrap up a plot

A major part of Petyr's character is that Lysa raped him when they were young, and Petyr has always coped by believing he slept with Catelyn. We know from Catelyn's chapters that this never happened, btw. Also, George always has abusers die to their victims. Whether directly like Little Finger pushing Lysa out the moon door or indirectly like Dany killing Drogo and Jon being on the other side when Ygritte dies. This extends pretty far. Tyrion killing Tywin, Oberyn killing the Mountain, Cercei killing Robert, in the show (and maybe in the books) Sansa is a big part of Joffrey's death, Theon and Jeyne will likely aid Stannis in the battle of snow, and there are probably more examples. Less so is Armory Lorch being strung up naked before being thrown into the bear pit. (He is the other one with Gregor at the Rep Keep during the Sack).

Robin Arryn got done so dirty in the series. In the books he's no brat, really; he's a realistic 8 year old (unlike the Stark children, who are probably gifted as they don't act their age). His sickness is through no fault of his own and he tries his best to manage his responsibilities and feels genuine respect for Sansa. Regardless of whether he's Petyr's son I'll feel sad if he dies.

Jon Arryn had children with his first wife, but they all died. Hoster was kinda betting on Jon's urgency for more kids to get Lysa married quickly and forget all that went down with Petyr.

I always thought that he was called 'Littlefinger' because he wasn't well endowed. If that's the case, no wonder his women were unperturbed

If he did take both of their maiden hoods then they most likely would not have complained because there is no one else to compare his performance to.

How do you not know this story behind this? Its heavily implied that Lysa was pregnant before with Littlefinger's baby. She was forced to lose the baby and she never got over it. The fact that Arryn hadnt been able to father a child may have been the reason he agreed to marry her. He was old and although she was not a virgin, it is known she is guaranteed fertile. Also, Robert is not sickly in the same way Littlefinger was. He has epilepsy and is coddled.

There's a theory that when he was talking about "robert" and "the seed is strong" on his death bed, he wasn't talking about Bobby b, he was talking about "his" son.

to a degree, The HBO series shows that Petyr outgrew the weaknesses of his youth.

It could also be referencing when Hoster Tully made her drink Moon Tea after she got pregnant (presumably by Littlefinger) before marrying Jon Arryn.

So nobody’s pressing against the claim that Petyr had Cat? I feel like that’s just another one of his lies that he’s spewing.

Firstly, Petr got her pregnant when they were teenagers, her father made her get rid of it by drinking moon tea. Secondly, Jon Arryn had 2 sons, one was part of Bramdon Starks group that was killed when he went looking for Lyanna and the other son died at some point during the Rebellion.

I really think Robin Arryn is Petyr's son. Lysa makes a big thing about not being able to make noise, which is why she wants to make noise now. Which implies that her, and Petyr had slept together before, but had to be quiet. So I think she continued her affair with Petyr when they were in king's landing.
