Oh My, I felt as though I was there in the room. This was exceptional. Jesus was NOT poor he was WEALTHY. I thank you for sharing, for the bishops word. Yes! This teaching is so powerful I’m literally on the floor. So much truth revealed in just the plainness of what the Bible says in the context of how the systems and structures of that time have been setup. Thank you so much for this word.

This one was good, yes wealth from the Lord is bibical and good thing. I mean just read book of Job. When satan took everything for him and Job never have anything bad to say against the Lord. The Lord blessed him even more with wealth. Its the same Jesus who did it back then for him and he will do it for us now aswell. But never search for wealth, search for Jesus and he will bring you wealth. I am so happy to worship such awesome and wonderful God our Lord and savior Jesus christ to the glory to the Father

There is too much reading into Scripture things that are not there. For example the Bible tells us the Magi gave Jesus 3 gifts. The Bible doesn't tell us that the family were given any other gifts from the caravan the Magi came with. It's reasonable to deduce that the Magi came with a caravan but nothing else. Also it is important to use verses in context otherwise God's Word is manipulated to mean what God did not intend. Jesus came poor so we could come rich had nothing to do with material wealth but spiritual. God came down from heaven a spiritually rich place to live on earth, a fallen world so we could become spiritually rich through what He did on the cross.

When Jesus was required to pay the temple tax he directed Peter to get the money out of a mouth of a fish. Had Jesus been that rich surely he would have had it readily available and not depend on a miracle.

Jesus was the Son of God and Creator of the universe. He was legally entitled to the throne of Israel through Joseph and a heredity heir to the throne through Mary. Heirs to the throne don't pay government taxes, so it didn't need to come from Him. He is also our High Priest, so He didn't really owe temple tax. But in order to smooth it over with the priests, He told Peter to get it from a fish in order to avoid any more friction.

Thank you for the message Sir, I followed through. I have questiosns. At first you read 2 Corinthians 8: 9 which says that Jesus bacame poor, what is meant by he bacame poor in this verse? The other question is on Leviticus 12 vs 6-8 and Luke 2:23-24, why the parents of Jesus bring doves instead of a lamb for Jesus?
