France may have lost but the quote “into the galaxy of greats!” Is one I won’t forget!

Am Cambodian-French but oh Boy... I had many heart attacks and nearly passed out in the end. It was a great match. AR deserved it too and for whatever they've endured.

The fact that France made consistent comebacks made the match unique.

That pass by Mac Allister isn’t getting enough praise. That was way more difficult to pull off than it looked like.

The second goal from Argentina was 🔥. Probably the best team goal you'll see in a World Cup final.

Not only the best final but arguably the best game especially considering what was at stake. Every range of emotion! Delighted for Argentina and Messi. Worthy winners.

Imagine us Argentinians. The whole WC was a hard time for our hearts. I couldn't sleep for days between matches. Anxiety was at an all time high. And the Netherlands game and especially the final had us on the verge of tears and rage all at the same time. Thank goodness we won. Greatest WC ever

I just can’t imagine it’s been an year now but still just imagine winning an trophy that is only 1 time in 4 years and then just go and meet each other in group that is Fr real hurtful

Hearing the same commentator from the 2018 wc final is just heartwarming

It is hard being from Argentina to tell if it was the best or not. We were 2 up with 15 mins left and suddenly tied, then scored again in extra time, and again tied....and that last play that saved Martinez would have meant to loose the game. I think that is what made it epic. Argentina had to win the game three times to become the champion and was one foot (Martinez`) away from loosing it. That and the penalty saved makes him the most important player that made the real difference

Just like in 2006 when Italy won, Buffon made the differences. He made epic saves that could've cost the game if he didn't, all the way to the penalties against France. Buffon was MVP. I'd say even before Cannavaro and Pirlo.

It’s definitely the best final that I’ve seen, and I’ve seen them all since 1974. ‘54 final seems amazing too but I believe this one was the best. All those goals, pk drama, Mbappe vs Messi, that mind boggling save in injury time. It had it all.

Greatest game I’ve witnessed in my life. It doesn’t get better than this.

For me.. ABSOLUTELY. Watching every final from 1990, none has been as nerve-wracking

I've seen ten fifa wc finals from 1986 onwards. This was indeed the best.

Watching this match live was a blessing for a football fan

The last 20 minutes and the 30 minutes of extra time was incomparable as it lifted sport into another level where we witnessed everything.

As an argentinian this match was brutal. So many emotions. When Martinez saved that last ball my heart skipped a couple of beats and then the penalties... I celebrated like a maniac and then I just had to take like a 20 minute break before going out to celebrate on the street because the stress of the match was so much I was completely burnt out.

When it was 2-0 at the 77th minute I was bored of the match and wanted to go sleep as it was 1AM and then Mbappe had a penalty and that woke me up and I watched the full match, full of emotions, no regret of not sleeping

I'm so glad I witnessed the Greatest World Cup Final ever fully. Truly a once in a life moment

Easily one of the best sporting events I’ve ever seen.
