1984, 1985, and 1986 were my favorite years.

I am born in 88. I am watching to see how the world was.

Those Nick At Night ads take me back to my teenage bedroom. All I need is a bag of Funions & a Trapper Keeper full of homework.

In '88 I was a 9-10 y/o latchkey kid. I remember staying up late on the weekends watching Nick at Nite. Hard to believe it's been over 30 years.

I miss McDLT and my dad.

1987 was, I was 17 and it just seemed like the world was mine...now I'm 51 and that sure did change.

Yeah it was. Strange because she was at the peak of her career. Unlike the movie stars of today celebrities of the 1980’s rarely endorsed products in the U.S. I wonder if it was for a foreign market. Commercials using mainstream American stars were pretty common practice in Asia at the time.

Michael J Fox and Joe Piscopo were doing Pepsi and Bud Light commercials at the height of their careers back then as well. You could say, Rosanna was more well known for being a muse. Just ask Toto and Peter Gabriel.

I was loving the Def leppard Hysteria album, and Appetite for destruction by GNR. 80s music was the best.

I don’t remember nick at night bc I was buried under a mountain of books and schoolwork.🤦🏼‍♀️ 😂 Honestly would still prefer that over staring at computer screens.

The 80's style is back. Everything in this commercials is what's trendy today in the tiktok era.

@HUB GOBLIN I have always told people. The simple fact we awe about the 90s for having better shows, movies, etc, because today people just dont pay as much attention, and appreciate tv like we did in the 90s, because we had no other choice. It's kind of like wrestling. The mid 90s was argubaly the worst time for the WWF with horrible gimmicks, and story lines which were pretty cringey, but still got over because people had no choice to watch and enjoy and not complain unlike today we have so much to pick from, hence why because no one cares about tv, and only stream content, or youtube, social media etc. Imagine being introvert in the 80s, or 90s.. it would be hell without the internet to express your self compared to today being so so easy.

Whoa - My Great Recipes - I haven't seen that commercial in over 30 years yet I remembered every word for some reason!?

I lost my mama in November of 88, I was 15, not a good year for me. Still nice to reminisce.

This was awesome, thank you for taking me back.

Those Nick and Nite shows seemed absolutely ancient back then but it's like watching Full House or Friends today, and I used to look forward to those free Disney Channel weekends.

I'm a huge fan of his son Jungle Jack Perry in AEW, and it's even cooler now that he comes out to the song Tarzan Boy!!, it's truly sad his father never got to see him shine his biggest, and brightest.

I was 24 and a college student at Penn State. Best years of my life!

Born in 84, so I don't really remember any of these, but they sure give me an odd sensation.

In 2000 and 2001 i was 7, and 8, and i loved nick at night. loved watching the repeat of full house, afraid of the dark, and many shows also that were classics. Never would i imagine a childhood special like spongebob to still exist today, and boy does it.. beyond its due date.

Viacom should run a stream of all their old tapes from Nickelodeon. They would get so many viewers. Just stream all the old commercials and shows. Roll tape.

California Raisins brought back good memories

I wish Mars had never renamed the American Mars bar to Snickers Almond. Snickers Almond is one of my favorite candy bars, but I don't see why changing the recipe (as they did) required them to also change the name. Why couldn't they have just called it a "new and improved" Mars bar? (In any case, Mars is rather notorious for regularly renaming their candy bars). I was still just a kid when Mars bars were discontinued and by the time I was old enough to care and search them out, they were nowhere to be seen. If only I'd been born just a few years earlier...

The California Raisins were so cute. I feel sorry for kids today. All they get is CGI crap and "re-imagined" (otherwise known as copied) ideas, nothing original or memorable. I can name ten commercials from the 80's and 90's that I still remember. I doubt anyone born after 2000 can say the same.
