I have Windows 10, my Nvidia Drivers are the Latest Update. Vanguard is so shitty I can't even play the Free Spring Break Multiplayer. Cold War and Warzone uses the same Battle Net app and I don't encounter this problem on them. I can't even change the compatibility from Windows 8 to Windows 10, because it's not on the drop list of Windows versions to select from.

i have a problem, i play on windows 10 version 1903 but when i try to launch warzone 2 it says i need to update windows 10 to version 1909 or higher so i updated my windows but it didnt update the version so now i cant play warzone 2

Try delete all files like him and re install game don’t repair, after that try the last step and should work

this happens for me on wz and vanguard free trial rn i did the update last thinking it wouldnt be that trippin out on why cuz i have windows 10 too and the update fixed it!

Just Simply change the compatibility to default. Means.... Just Uncheck those options which says "Windows 8, 7 or XP or Whatever" just Uncheck them in the "Properties" window of Moderwarfare.exe, then you're good to go.

the "folder read only" thing is straight up bogus dude.check folders on your hard drive.literally EVERY folder has this ticked.its the standard setup for windows folders.If its really "read only" it has a check mark or hook or how its called in it.when you see a black square in the check box its just the standard setting from windows.hence you have one option greyed out when changing it.just test it, remove the black square and click the check box again > then its read only ;)

Omg has anyone realized that is not error but option for win 7 users if u run 8 or 10 or even 11 just select no and boom past it continues to load

All u have to do is hit NO

Man its way easier to fix this problem dont need to do all that All u have to do 1-go to the game file location 2-right click on the call of duty launcher then choose properties 3- go to the compatibility then un click the box that says "run this program in compatibley mode for" Thats it It will work But make sure to do the last step on an application extension not data

Just do that step on 9:15 and it should be good to go. 😉
