Sniping is better, but it still doesn't hold a candle to peak Warzone 1 with Infinite one shot headshot range on all the snipers. However I am of the opinion that more snipers will be tweaked in the coming updates to reintroduce their one shot potentials with high velocity, moving sniping back towards what we saw near the end of Warzone 1. And end up having a couple of options for infinite one shot range, likely the Katt and Victus, then most snipers having a capped one shot range within 100m, although likely excluding the KV Inhibitor and Longbow

I agree. I think if you are someone who managers to hit a head shot at 150m+ then you should be rewarded with the player going down or being killed. It takes a lot of skill to lead with a shot at high ranges to hit players, more so than anything upclose. If they are going to limit damage range then I think the XRK (as an example) should have a base damage range of 70 minimum allowing players to increase it with attachments. For example, keeping the short barrel means players have faster ads but are limited to 70m, players that attach the longer heavier barrel has a lot slower ads but can 1shot 100m+. Still ALOT to be improved on for snipers.

Yeah I really, really enjoyed where sniping got to end of warzone 1, felt like you could pick almost any sniper and have a good time, as some like the kar and swiss were still one shot-able but only for short ranges, for the aggro player. But on the flipside, you could go full ZRG or HDR and have a slow but (basically?) infinite range one shot potential Warzone 2 basically had the worst of both worlds, as the snipers were slow but also had such garbage velocity that they had to be used fairly close range

Something to keep in mind is that the Katt finishes downed players with one bullet to anywhere in the body within the first damage range. Also, the XRK is a 2 shot anywhere in the body except for the furthest damage range where you need upper torso shots (or on head shot plus any body shot).

Here's the paradox, which I will dub the 'Warzone Paradox': - Previously, players were complaining about dying too quickly and being unable to react, so the developers inflated the health to an absurd degree. - But the same players also want one-shot snipers, which exacerbates the original complaint about dying too quickly. - So the logical conclusion is to pump Warzone with MORE health, which will cause MORE players to complain about two-shot snipers.

75m is not a lot though, but I’ll say this: It’s nice to have a little more choice to be able to fine tune your play style. Personally I’d like to see them adding more one shot snipers, while nerfing them in other aspects than bullet velocity and obviously the one shot capability, ads, recoil and sway for instance. They need to tune them for skillful longrange engagement.

It increases damage range but has a heavy hit to ads speed. Sonic suppressor has no ads penalty. Kind of meets in the middle but every players preferences are different! 🫡

Hey Westie, i recently figured this out about blueprints; if you create a custom blueprint it will break every game, u will need to edit your loadout and select your custom blueprint again, BUT if you select the battlepass (or any buyable) blueprint and customize it without making a custom one, it will not break, ever. Hope that helps ❤.

I just added high velocity and ads attachments on the Katt. Been quick scoping with it.

Before the spire point rounds nerf. The stalker with the right attachment setup had a bullet velocity of 1717m/s

The nerf even translated over to Multiplayer which doesn't usually happen, it's my favourite, still good at 1300 odd but 1700m/s was so goated on ground war

Also, I posted in the VoD of yesterday's stream that other snipers now show more than 300 damage headshots in the advanced stats menu, but I only play Multiplayer not Warzone, so I can't confirm if these will actually one-shot. Here's the list if you want to check them out. XRK Stalker: 300dmg @50.8m KATT-AMR: 360dmg @78m MCPR-300: 480dmg @56.9m Victus XMR: 322dmg @78m FJX Imperium: 480dmg @50.3m I tried these in the firing range on dummies with 3 plates, but even the KATT-AMR couldn't get a one-shot headshot and only showed an armor break. If the advanced stats turn out to be real, one-shot snipers might actually be back and you and Stodeh can enjoy making people curse in Warzone.

I'm just so happy to see sniping done with another sniper that's not the KAT

The Mammoth suppressor has a +10% ADS penalty over the Sonic Suppressor. I didn't wanna take that for just an 8m increase in damage range.

All snipers should be one shot headshot at any range, they should just be harder to use

Said it before and I'll say it again. You can easily add on-shot headshot snipers back into the game by adding a Helmet. Essentially the same as a gas mask. If you have one equipped and a sniper headshots you, it gets destroyed.

Helmet cannot be shown on a character when COD sells outfits that have their own head/face cosmetics. Doesn’t work in this game.

We need more perk based incentives. Make a perk that allows 1 shot snipe. Heck make it require 2 perks if u need to. Make slide cancelling require perks. Make all of these specific game styles revolve around a talent tree because at this point COD is A DIVIDED community on playstyle and emphasis. So why not provide a small talent tree with a handful of points or perks and allow us to BUILD our playstyles. What do we get instead? A mechanic perk that doesn’t even improve driving. And a perk that makes you crawl faster while downed. 😤😑

you and aculite are my most favorite warzone streamers. So coolheaded and simple, yet effective.

Sniping isn't "back" but the AX-50 is! All snipers need to be one shot but I've always liked the idea of doing that at determined drop off points. Also, why does westie not believe in plating up

Call of duty logic....we don't want snipers to have any sort of one shot capability, or only limited if any. You can only get a one shot whilst standing on your head. Call of duty the next day "here's a double barrel shotgun that gets 1 shot downs out to 500 meters"

You don’t have to use the ammunition. But if you do it gives you +25M range on the one shot headshot. And even if you DID have to use the ammunition, of course it’s a one shot. If it makes it one shot, it’s one shot 😂

Although I appreciate this XRK stalker buff, I'm still puzzled to why Raven is so afraid of making all snipers one shot at any range. That's the way they worked in Verdansk, and it wasn't a big deal. Yes, the Kar98 and Swiss were kind of OP, but the rest of them were just fine. I really hope we can go back those ways. I want to see more variety in the sniper category.

I have been using the XRK Stalker since I started WZ3 a little while back honestly even with the two shot kill I still love the rifle and honestly feels more rewarding than the Katt does
