Ignacy Jan Paderewski (born 1860 in Kuryłówka, died June 29, 1941 in New York) - Polish pianist, composer, independence activist, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. Under his direct influence, President Woodrow Wilson included in his ultimatum conditional on the United States signing the Treaty of Versailles(1919) a thirteenth point demanding the consent of the parties to the treaty to Poland's sovereignty - thanks to which the creation of an independent Polish state was included in the treaty. Paderewski was like a movie or music star. As a young man, he was beautiful. Women in the US and other parts of the world were crazy about him. The rider on the horse is Prince Józef Poniatowski. Polish national hero. He died a heroic death protecting Napoleon. :-)

I can recommend you Wroclaw in Westpoland. First it´s chaos there but then you can see this "City of water and islands" and its progress. Museum "Hydropolis" is awesome

Warsaw has never been raised again as such a beautiful city like it was before the WW 2.
