For all the people that think this is. Sparta, you're wrong. This are the Athenians that fought the battle of Marathon. When they won someone ran back to Athene to tell the news. That is the same distance as the nowdays marathons.

David Vandel. Well basically the battle of Marathon took place when Xerxes father was king of Persia. Also in this battle the general of the Greek army is Themistocles. The general of the Greek army in the battle of Marathon was Miltiadis. Everything else that you said is correct

Plot twist: once you made it to Greece and the ruins there, naturally you started to fight. Little did you know that a curse was placed long ago by the Spartans that sent anyone fighting on the ruins back to the battle. You and your friends now had to fight in the actual battle as Spartans...or die trying.
