Warrior is the most underrated goalie gear in my opinion. They are not as popular as Bauer, CCM, Brians, Vaughn, etc but I use g4s and they are the best gear in my opinion.

Trav you should be able to make the leg channel tighter by opening the gap between the landing block and leg channel up and pulling the velcro strap back to make it tighter

That neoprene strap is great. I have the GT's and its my fav feature. I have a pair of 1s pro returns that just never felt right after wearing the GT's.

Warrior has some amazing equipment nowadays! I got a Warrior GT sr glove and blocker and they feel amazing while still giving me enough protection! 2 skates in and the glove snaps shut with hardly any effort!

They sit funny when you put the knee strap down below the knee. I had to put the knee strap around my knee to keep them from turning inward and interfering with one another

I just tried those types of pads on but... I couldn’t seem to move around easily in them. Good luck tho!

The G4's, optiks, 2s are on the top my list. Been talking to Szabados a lot and she loves her, definitely moving to the top of my list! Great review, as always!

I was just wondering why the g4 because it as been 7 years since I bought my last pads and now I'm looking for a new set and I was hesitating between the 2s and the g4. I just wanna know what make you go from the 1s to the g4?

anthony gourde he went from 1s to Optik to G4 from what I’ve heard he switched from Bauer because the durability was atrocious and I don’t know why he switched from optik, probably just to get something new. Sliding is really good on g4s glove is good (in his opinion I thought it was too small) and blocker idk

anthony gourde personally I would likely go with 2s, I really love the 2s blocker and the pads durability has gotten a lot better and I didn’t love the g4s in store, however I would go with slr or premier 2 or optik if I was buying pads
