I remember once I was talking and this cat who was the deputy came up and before I could say hi they go “don’t back talk to me and go on a patrol” and so I said “yes sir” and they really went “WE DON`T HAVE ALL DAY NOW GET OUT AND DO THE PATROL” and then got yelled at for waiting for my patrol group which I was leading because they decided not to listen so then I went without them and got yelled at for that so happy times 😌

1. It's always kinda a hybrid thing of "step up if you are worth (if they want to), so no one gets a role they don't want)" and selecting the deputy as shown in the expectation for me. 2. Most of the kits have no parents and that's why they run around. Although this is how it still plays out if they DO have parents. 3. Yeah, where's all the hunting at?

The thing about being deputy is that when iI CALL PATROLS there’s like 2 people at most who come up. It’s aggravating.

Sometimes you'll actually get a deputy who does assign patrols, I would do that but I mainly get too stressed by the role, I'd only take deputy if it was a clan of like 10 cats, but then no one would ever patrol so there's seems to be an issue in my plan...
