great band and killer version of this tune

Believe it or not, there was a studio version of this. Boulder was a Colorado bar band that actually produced a studio cover version of this song on their 1979 self-titled album. Zevon hired them for this tour, and they're the ones that played on Stand in the Fire as well.

Dead on. That is exactly what happened. They started handcuffing him to burly crew members to keep him sober enough to perform.

who the fuck is this? Definitely not the great late Warren Zevon.

Whoever this is, it sure isn't Warren Zevon. It is a primer in how to destroy a perfectly good song.

@@sharkkt I think they sound alright considering their front man passed out drunk mid concert and they had to fill time while Warren straightened out enough to finish his show.
