In 2009 I saw him play lead for a Grateful Dead reunion. They played for about 3 hours. I’ll never forget that concert

I've listened to Warren for 26 years...amazing as always. I played this for a coworker who was just mesmerized. He is a U2 fan but had never fully felt the lyrics. Beyond being an amazing guitarist such a great story teller and singer.

It's called a cover song people. Hence why he can play however he so pleases. Warren Haynes is an amazing musician and singer. I think this is a great COVER.

I get what you're saying, but Warren is anything but under rated. I think it's more accurate to say he's not recognized like the chart dominating artists, but ask any professional in the music business and they'll say he's one of the best out there. He 's the definition of a musician's musician.

Warren is such a fantasic singer and this is no exception, great version.

Warren is truly one of the most underrated musicians in the world.. There is an acoustic version of his cover of "Affair on 8th Ave" that is something to behold, too..

The way he strum those strings is deep to the bone....

Warren always comes through! Chiiilllzz down the spine.....

It’s crazy how the entire meaning of a song can be changed by how it’s performed. Honestly, I think that’s the mark of a great cover. To stay respectful to the original, yet be played as a different song.

I only “heard” the words until Warren sings it ~ now it has the deepest most meaningful lyrics!

This is perfect. Almost better than Joe Cocker's cover. Hard to forget either performance. A great song always has room for reinterpretation by true artists.
