Wow thank you, most in depth review ive found so far. Been trying to decide what board to buy, this has helped a ton.

I am actually transitioning off of a WarPig after 4 great years and find everything you are saying to be on point. Just wanted to say that I really appreciated this review (even though I am not buying either) and wish that you would have done this for Bataleons entire lineup as they all seem so similar that my head is spinning. Anyway, we’ll done and thanks for taking the time

We are not a bataleon dealer at the moment but we think the boards are very cool I would say that the big thing with bataleon is you gotta like 3bt.

I could do this, but I could probably just answer any questions you might have. I think that the Warpig and the Shadowban are very optically different on specs, camber, and sizing, and some of the differences might be more obvious than the nuances of the psychocandy and warpig. I would say personally the Shadowban is more versatile with the camber, and the longer effective edge feel of the board, and the switch capabilities of the shadowban are much better than the warpig. The warpig is more nimble, and floats easier and feels very fun and surfy with the size and shape. It is ok on groomers with the flat to rocker profile, but definitely sacrifices some on groomer high speed stability for some between the trees float and fun.

OUr house is a pig - stye. We are definitely Gear Hoarders - She has a Superpig, PsychoCandy, Warpig, and a Peace Seeker, I have a Twinpig, Mountain Pig, Super Pig, and 3 sizes of the Warpig, and 4 sizes of the PsychoCandy. Pretty much have a collection of the Psychocandy and Warpigs so my friends can ride them.

@MotionBoardshop that's wild. Which is your personal favorite to ride? I live the superpig. I almost completely stopped riding my orca since I got the superpig.

Some of the other information I have seen is that the psycho candy is more designed for the female market but your review seems to dispel that?? Has me looking more in that direct now. Binding recommendation is o match it??

I’m 5’10” and 160 lbs. I ride the Psychocandy and love it. I use the Ride C6 binding for it. Amazing board and super stable.

It first was introduced as a women's war pig, then evolved into a unisex board with a different feel.

They make the PsychoCandy as more of a versatile size range board, that is a little better as a powder board with the more directional flex and stance location. The Psychocandy has the 138cm size for tinier riders, typically ladies, but still goes all the way up to a 158cm size, which is as big as the biggest warpig, albeit a little narrower. I would say that the psychocandy definitely has a broader size range, which is why next year we are going to carry the Psychocandy instead of the Warpig, not to say we wont switch it up the year after that, but the Psychocandy is definitely more of a performance powder / slush board then the Warpig is in my humble and biased opinion. Also the psychocandy has a cool graphic next year that will match lots of bindings. Bindings that match up well with the psychocandy would be from Ride - A6, A4, C4, C6. Union - Strata, Ultra, STR, Force, Falcor. Bent Metal - Transfer, Axtion K2 - Literally anything Their bindings are not too soft to put on this board - Sonic, Indy, Formula, Edition, bond,

Yep, and the psychocandy is less volume shifted. You ride that a bit longer. Kinda like the dancehaul.

After riding a twin pig then war pig into a shadow ban just buy a super pig and be done with it just size down 8

Candy looks like a noodle if you want to carve no matter how you mount bindings. Honestly how the warpig carved switch they should up the radi to 9-12.
