I already loved all these songs, but there's something refreshing about hearing them like this, live with acoustic guitars. And with buckets.

I get the feeling that you could hand Stella a can of soup and a bag of frozen peas, and she would still make them sound fantastic.

Wow. These acoustic versions showed me a complexity in this music that I hadn't noticed before. Yay.

So in love with this acoustic-set! I haven't seen one performance by Warpaint that wasn't gorgeous. Such lovely gals, and I just adore them all! Literally, every show they do, leaves me speechless all the way through. This album still has to be my most favorite of the year. I'm pretty damn sure I've listened to it every day since it came out. Oh boy, I'm a Warpaint addict!

Jake Bliss I've been a Warpaint addict every day for almost seven years now. i know exactly how you feel. Two years since this album dropped and still never gets old. this time Heads Up has been in constant rotation every day.

I can't speak enough of this band. I am officially addicted. Killler asymmetrical arrangements, always changing, sexy, bombing basslines, can't say enough!!!!! Did I mention killer basslines? She plays way up in the register and it just cuts through the mix! I LOVE the basslines!!!! Great guitar riffs!!! "Keep it Healthy' has a 5/4 16/4 time signature, maybe an 21/4 as a whole, but no specific metric reference other than the killer guitar riff that in it's own Zeppelinesque way says "I'm here"! Maybe 5/4, 8/4, 8/4. Doesn't matter. They weren't thinking that. They just F%#@ing played it!!!! Wow!

I am honestly in love with these girls. such haunting and honest music, with that groovy back beat. I can't get enough.

Well, they all play pretty good! they harmonize fantastic with their voices and it's so cool how there's a part "C" in their songs where the rythym changes. They are so good because they have their "own" thing when you listen to them. Great

I had the same set of drums but I threw it away after I had the house painted!

Almost sums up why I love this band soo much, using Paint-Tubs as Drums. I think considering their Band-Name they should start incorporating other paint-related objects into their music. Brushes next week……

I've been a big fan for five or so years, but just seeing this for the first time. Holy shit what a performance - their album production style is usually pretty high, studio rich, lots of layers... To strip these songs down like this is incredible.

I've been following this band ever since I saw them live (recorded..see my channel) at the Big Chill Festival in England a few years ago. Since then they have matured into a truly fine band. I'm so pleased to see they have stayed together, great musicians and wonderful vocal harmonies. Stick at it girls...you are amazing!!

Well Sagovia , Itzhak Perlman (one of the best violinists in the wold ) , Roy Clark, Danny Gatton , Phil Keaggy , B.B. King , Albert King . Steve Lukather, Joe Bonamassa , Carlos Santana , Django all have small hands or short stubby fingers except for Django who only has 2 f'n fingers on his left hand and these are all musicians musicians ! One more person on youtube that has no idea what they'r talking about. Do you even know how many octaves a guitar has or how to harmonize a C scale ? And actually none of these chicks play beyond an advanced beginner level . I'm thinking the requirements to be in this band were to be 1) Hot and 2) play a LITTLE !

larry scheller You could also be an advanced guitar player with great technique and never make a good tune in your entire life. You can be technical all day long but if you don't have the creativity and imagination to back it up then for me personally.....I just don't give a shit. I would much prefer something simple that sounds good over something technical that just sounds like a bunch of notes jumbled together.

This is an older performance I just got to but the discussion about Warpaint starting in 2004 and not recording until 2010ish (?) is sort of like The Beatles because they sort of had beginnings in 1957 with lineup changes and not releasing a proper album until 1963. So that's all I have to say about that. I've been bingeing Warpaint shows and interviews for the past several days. I've liked them a lot for several years but never really looked them up on You Tube. Anyway it's lots of fun. They are so awesome as everyone knows. Stella drives the band with funky rhythm patterns and the intermingling vocals and harmonizing is so trance inducing with funky bass. Acoustic and electric prowess. A true band!!!
