your OCD is a dream on the clean and jerk clips you don't often see folks going to the effort of realigning for a second rep like that. just let the plates flap around like idiots, but you don't. Very based, sir.

05:04 Honestly, I love the dread on Clarence his face as he realizes that he is indeed about to receive a hug aswell.
Love hearing the excitement and passion about the workouts even this far into your journey

Exactly. I love hearing from guys like him, Thrall, the unconventional lifts guy he showed in the beginning. Guys who don’t have the genetics to ever reach the top of their sports, but just lift for the process of lifting. Great mindsets
Hey zack...iv been watching u for about 3 years now and started weightlifting 9 months ago...thanks so much for doing what you do and I really look up to you as a lifter and listen to you as a coach...love you man
I love it! This is the greatest deadlift/handslift video I’ve seen in a very long time.

Ultimately, a video about how to win in training. Really, that’s a phenomenal attitude and approach to take with you to the gym. In terms of combat sports, people get stuck on the non competitive idea of “there’s no winning and losing in the gym, just improvement” but that improvement… any improvement is objectively a win. In terms of strength training, I tend to write up very ambitious souls crushing programs for myself that leave me feeling terrified of continuing half way through. Seeing you genuinely happy with your strength training (the way I feel during a good sparring session) got me reevaluating a lot of things about strength and conditioning.

@@orangeepicman2740 Thanks man. I have a PCL tear right now, so not much.
You took the words out of my mouth when you said zerchers are therapeutic. That's exactly what I've been saying as well. Everything about the zercher deadlift feels great to me.
What a brutal physical challenge! 40 degrees that's wild. Nice deadlifts and hands lifts too.
I remember when I first got into lifting I would watch Eric Bugenhagen zercher compilations and would be ready to run through a brick wall after
That 505 zercher is actually super impressive
When you hit your deadlift goal you should give natural stone lifting a try. You're brutally strong, explosive as hell, have a great wingspan - and are already comfortable doing the uncomfortable. I think you'd crush it.

I second this! Really checks the box of training for the difficult as well

It all depends on why your back hurts. Some people get better by being more extended and others by a little flexed. Personally neutral is the only safe way i can lift.

He'd probably crush atlas stones as well. Great front squat and long arms.
Nobody: what are you in the ice bath for? ZT: for the difficult
Really digging the lifting v logs lately Zack. Some high quality content right here. Please, keep ‘em coming 🔥

This resonates. Just started doing zurcher deadlifts 4 weeks ago and really appreciate them for the reasons you described.
This series is easily my favorite of all the content you’ve put out so far. Super motivational and real. I’m not an oly lifter but man does this make me want to throw some weight around.
This has definitely been one of my favorite videos you've made recently.
I think your video essays are probably your best content. Something about that style just seems to come so natural to you. I love everything you put forward but your video essays just hit a little harder and go a little deeper. Even though this wasn’t really that, it had that feel to the beginning and I’ve wanted to point this out for a while so rather than wait, I just did it now. Keep winning man!
Favourite KZreadr right now for sure. Just enjoyable content to watch and listen to
This is some excellent content man. I’ve followed you for a few years, but only in the last 2 years started weightlifting during my training (I have a powerlifting background). Technical analysis videos and technique drills that you demonstrate on your channel brought me to my 86/105 current maxes! Thank you so much Zack!
I absolutely love your content!! Please keep it coming!
You’re so fucking funny I love the edits and how ridiculously serious and sincere this video was
Great! Always inspiring Zack, thank you.
Zerchers are so fun, managed 180kg full cycle from the knees and 140kg from the floor. Consistent content recently had been great 👍🏻
Gotta say, it's hard watching your videos on rest days, so hard not to pick up a barbell. Inspiring af! Thank you for the amazing content ❤
The opening section with the tub was lovely, there is something deeply soul-pleasing, almost spiritual, about doing something difficult.
These are very inspiring videos Zack. Loving the content.
whenever I'm feeling drained or tired of deadlifting or squatting. Ill switch to pulling conventional or doing front squats. focus on other movements and save myself the disappointment of not moving weight I want to do. This is also when Ill do some weightlifting and just have fun with my workouts. feels really good to move differently sometimes.
Thank you for your contribution!
Dude the memes(lotta berserk and dark souls lol) and content have all been stellar. getting progressively more awesome. Thanks for the knowledge and laughs.
Some of your best content in years Zack, real cool
You’re on a roll fella, quality content
I really like this new format man. Good stuff
Clarence sitting there, like "really? ya'll hyped for that?". Hold my pint and look at this!
very well made video, also loved the not too serious commentary in the beginning
That final workout was something else. Keep pushing for "the unknown" Thanks for the inspiration. PS. Gojira FTW!
Excellent choice of music!
I am starting to do this on my back session, zack has convinced me.

Been a fan of Jach Zoolander for years now. Good to see you getting back into the big weights and enjoying the process ♥️
Just found your channel and I’m really enjoying your style. Keep it up !
Some of my best workouts have been days where I physically and mentally did not want to be in the gym, but I went anyway saying any lifting is better than none and it was super satisfying.
Inspiring stuff, truly.
You can put fat gripz on the bar for comfort . Been doing zercher squats for a while, an extremely underestimated exercise and much harder than they look.
Do more cold tub reflection stuff. Really dig it man!! Keep at it, you’re doing amazing!!!
Very similar to ben patrick's concepts when doing jefferson curls. Great stuff as always Zack
Jefferson curls have been good for my back.
My clean and jerk is getting so much better watching your training
You’re a good soul, man. I can just tell. Getting so genuinely excited is refreshing to see. Hey, good fucking shit!
Hey Zack, check out Will Ratelle, I think he has enough curriculum to enter the Zercher top tier chads Also, for me, his point of view and reasonings in sport performance are just brilliant and probably ressonates with you as well Salut
enjoyd every minute of it
Bless you Zackaree
Good job zack, a dive inside a strong lifter's mind and psychology of training and meticulous craftsmanship, lot of take home here
4:04 the guts theme is one of my favorite songs now because of your video earlier this year
I have less then zero interest in Olympic lifting but watching you have so much fun in this video and your mentality when it comes to lifting had definitely earned you a sub. I'd bet money you'll be able to get that "hands lift" PR you're chasing
Great video, thanks for motvation
This is really awesome
i love dis style of vid
Zack, you should do a video on Derek Kendall's lifts. The guy was a monster
Workout goals
Hey Zack, I’ve been watching a lot of your content recently and it’s inspired me to add a few low technical weightlifting accessories to my training. I wanted to ask you if you could do a video on guys like Ryan Crouser and Joe Covacs who are two Olympic throwers who do weightlifting movements. They’re crazy strong and I think it could make good content.
doing difficult shit makes you stronger who woulda thought 🤣 cool video as always!
i love doing front squat sessions with small weight increments going pause + 3 reps. feels so good
Not only is this video covering one of my favorite lifts, it’s got the Berserk theme in the background. 10/10 content.
you make lifting shit off the ground look so cool lmao
Interesting video 👍
I used to do these + zercher squats back in highschool when I didn't have money for a squat rack
Love Zerchers. I don't do them often but can pull 170kgs off the floor fairly easy no belt or elbows sleeves. I worry more about bicep strain than low back injury with this exercise.
Yes, algo post Nice vid
❤soo much volume…will try Zerchers.
This really had to come out when I’m deadlifting…. The urge to try it mannnnnnnn
Zercher deadlifts are probably one my favorite exercises. I wanna try and it 405 by end of year
Dude, you had me when the you queued up the guts theme.
any c&j complex where you add in a touch&go component is just insane :D
Very impressive! I'm curious about your entire training schedule including WL and grappling. How do you manage both? Do you have blocks where you change the focus from one to another? Or a GPP template including both?
Started today. 💯 Therapeutic.
I replayed your PR for Clarence’s reaction or lack there of 😂
Can't wait for The Weight Prep zercher/bbing/weightlifting program to be released
“It’s almost therapeutic…” plays Berserk music
I've watched the episodes of you learning to use the log bar and doing those zercher squats multiple times
The REAL DEADLIFTS. WOOOOOOO
My back is always phenomenal after zerchers.
Zelda BOTW ost is an instant like from me. I love the fact that you also like video games.
crazy strong
Not the guts theme lmao instant like
we love the smile
Dude,Berserk music in there. You are a god.
Love the Berserk theme. Guts would only do zerchers for sure.
Zercher for gains
love the BOTW sounds

The Doom music into our great beast lard lord is absolutely fantastic!! 🤣
That berserk song !!!!!
Hi Zach, is there any risk for the arm especialy the bicep with the zercher ?
@johnnykame
Жыл бұрын
The only risk zerchers pose is with your posterior chain, if and only if, you don't brace properly or go too heavy too quick. The biceps dont get stimulus from the zercher. Theyre just, there.
Zac is strong af
