To be honest I don't think even latoya has these clips or footage anymore. If you go to her instagram, latoya always post these low quality images or vids that are from youtube!!! I wish it were like that, and some hero could have saved the day...but unfortunately, with abuse victims, even when you tear them apart, they go right back to the abuser. It's just as much an emotional hold, as it is a physical hold. And that's how it becomes a sad, unfortunate cycle. Still, it's good for people to intervene when they see abuse!

When the tables were turned Geraldo looked REALLY uncomfortable. He can do it to others but doesn’t like when it’s done to him. Latoya is low key brilliant.

You have to see that within the context of what the music business was like back then. There was much better talent out there and it made La Toya’s come out inevitably marginal by comparison. It also doesn’t help the various producers and songwriters La Toya had to work with and the material they gave her to sing.

You should never interview or marriage counsel a battered as she goes home and get beaten or killed. Unsafe journalism

There’s so much we don’t know, and it’s honestly none of our business. Michael could have been autistic and possibly asexual. To this day, people don’t fully understand autism, let alone in the 90s. This interview is so sad. The media constantly pushed the boundaries of the Jackson’s, in one interview the man giving the interview tried to take Blanket’s sheet off his face ! Michael told the interviewer to stop that he was hurting Blanket. The media did their entire family dirty, it’s heartbreaking. I’m a lifelong fan of Michael and the Jackson family, so watching these old interviews is so hard to see

Also many autistic people get locked into a timeframe of their life that they want to redo, which for Michael was his childhood, especially since he never got to have a childhood himself. I could talk about this for hours and I’ll probably make a video on it eventually. Michael is completely innocent and it’s awful what people have done to him

This is such an interesting and really unusual program on Latoya Jackson's career and relationship with her Ex /Manager Jack Gordon! It also real sad to hear about her past troubled upbringing as a young girl! She seemed extremely Outspoken and informative about the way her Parents treated her during her childhood and young adult years! She sounds like she is extremely close to her mother than she is about her dad! The dad was the person responsible for the abuse that she spoke truthfully about in more than one interview as a guest on previous talk shows on KZread channel! There were also past Dance shows on the KZread from back in the late 70's or 80's that have NOT Seen before where she is a singing guest! The program called 'American Bandstand' which back in the 80's when I was a only 8 years old (a young girl back in the day)!. I use to enjoy watching these shows once in a while during the weekends at home! She looked sooo much better and SOOO PRETTY! She had a Cute Nose! So did her Younger sister Janet! I always like some of Janet Jackson songs! I would usually the the cassette CD of her music and I still would Now! Latoya is one of the most interesting and attractive popular women in entertainment because she is a member of the most famous Jackson Family along with her brother Micheal Jackon (MJ)! He was without a doubt to most people that loved and enjoyed his music One of the most Beloved Greatest Entertainer/Musician in the World! ❤ She was not always as noticed for her music here in US but she claims She's doing real well in Countries like Europe such as England, France , or UK!. It sounds likes She has a extremely confusing and unsual love life with her late ex husband / manager Jack Gordon! It shows that she had a Real Differcult time with him! She been si adamant about her story on how she was Severely abused and controlled by him! The sad part is that she mentions that her own family members such as her mom and dad DID NOT Believe her story! The other thing she mentions that she would LIVE FOR HER MOTHER! She was like " Finally !! someone who understands " 32:02 / 32:29 mark - when the lady shook her head very slightly to Latoya was very moving. She understood that Latoya was afraid to say " Yes" ( I swear that lady was such a sweetheart, have a very kind positive aura ) 23:17 / 23:37 mark - When Latoya barely shook her head " No " & couldn't verbally say it because Jack was right next to her, after the lady asked her if she could leave ASAP, Toya was too afraid to leave feeling as if there was no way out. 17:40 mark - Latoya's demeanor changed instant like " See, this is what I have to deal with " when Jack said " No " he wasn't leaving on Saturday. She took her arm from behind him and just looked " Defeated " for the next 50 seconds or so. When Latoya was hosting the segment of the show ( Which I think was her calling because look at how natural she interacting with folks, she should've definitely had her own 90's talk show that would air after the soap opera such as " All My Children " " One Life To Live " , and have the " Sally Jesse Raphael " show, I could see the theme song being the " Sexual Feeling " Remix intro when they keep saying " La Toya " right before the beat drops ) You can tell how at ease she felt with Geraldo, when Jack wasn't around. As if a huge dark cloud was no longer over her. I think at this point when Latoya was standing up for herself, she knew that this " relationship " was going to come to a head and either it kills her, or it won't be easy to escape but she has to do it. This is when alot of people are killed when they are in abusive relationships. When the escape route is about to take place, it becomes extremely dangerous.

She could've stayed with Geraldo or gone to the police and not gone home but she was afraid for her life and she didn't believe that simple solution of leaving him would be a viable option because of his mob connections.

I bet Jack would've had a field day if that occurred and claim that she was schizophrenic. + with them being married, he would try to have the upper hand of the situation. I think with him already telling Latoya that he would kill Janet + Michael that she may have been afraid who ever she ran to help might end up killed as collateral damage. This may sound crazy but I just thought if Latoya would've had " Off" herself ( suicide ) during this breaking point. Could you imagine what Jack would've said !!! Ths first appearance on Geraldo is seriously so heartbreaking. I think she was afraid of Jack's mob ties and that's why she didn't just leave him. 31:27 / 1:02:08 mark - ( About Janet ) Latoya didn't speak for a few seconds, because she couldn't tell the audience ( along with Jack ) that this is when Latoya tried to escape Jack Gordon right after a TV appearance. She went to a recording studio ( I'm assuming Flyte Tyme Studios / Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis ) when Janet was recording her " Janet " album. Latoya didn't think to remove her headset since she was trying to get away, went to Janet & asked her for help. Janet saw the headset, and got into a altercation with Latoya & didn't help her. ( 1:02:54 mark ) I think that's why Latoya was saying that Janet was taking it hard because she didn't realize what was going on. It's one of those things in life where we reflect back and realized things could've been handled different without jumping the gun so fast. We're all human, I'm glad that Janet reached out and did end up close again. I remember seeing Janet hanging out with LaToya alot during the " Damita Jo " area. When the Superbowl incident happen. I remember Toya saying " Jan called me right after it happened " and was saying how she had to calm Janet down from being sad from the incident.

I think the only time Latoya did that is when she went to Janet at the studio where she was recording for the " Janet " Album But the other times when folks tried to help her, she would tell them not to report it to the cops. She was too scared to leave and would've went back to him until she felt she had no other choice ( Breaking Point ). In a way I can see why Latoya refused help because she didn't want other people to get hurt or even killed for trying to help her. Knowing that Jack was tied with the mafia. It's a tricky situation.

This is very sad. It's obvious she was afraid of Gordon, yet Geraldo described it only as dysfunctional when it was abusive. Even the counselor on the phone didn't get it. Are these in chronological order? Thank you for locating and sharing this. Her voice was excellent singing "Crazy," and she did an excellent job as a host, even without having any forewarning that she was going to be asked to do it.

The truth of the matter is Michael Jackson was homosexually inclined due to his homophobic family/upbringing and his reputation in general. The false allegations do not correlate to his sexuality. His family have outed him in many ways. No, she just got emotional and cried. She didn't admit to anything, just that she never was intimate with Jack. A year before her reality show she appeared on the today show and Matt Lauer asked her if she's recanting on accusing her father of sexual abuse. She refused to answer him. So I think that tells you everything
