I remember that smell like it was yesterday 🤮 I found my father laying in a comfortable position with the TV on. He hadn't answered his phone for a couple days; so unlike him. I'd just had back surgery and couldn't drive. My husband and I drove our to check on him. I could smell dead dad from the front porch. He was diabetic, obese & had a quadruple bypass 8 years before. It wasn't a shock. I was glad that he passed without any struggle. He was chilling out in his velour track suit watching TV in his big beautiful home 💜 Fluids had soaked through the mattress box spring and into the carpet. If I remember correctly it took days before the smell left my nose. RIP Daddio!!! 😘

That's what I often think when they walk around places just left to disappear to time. The empathy I feel for the person or families that have lived there is unreal. To think it was someone's effort time and money, their safe space, their home, their pride and joy to just be left and forgotten is so sad.

Sadly places and events get forgotten unless living relatives keep chasing the system up, if no living relatives you will be surprised at how often crime scenes or natural deaths get left, as in this case where a person dies and decomposed. Also a sad note I hear of this all to often, an older person with no living or in some cases caring relatives their friend/social circle decreasing every year, dies a lonely and forgotten death, a stark point that without those around you, you are non existent even before you pass away. So as the saying about a tree falling over in a forest and no one to witness it, same goes for last standing pensioners.

As a paranormal investigator of many years standing I find it refreshing to see your approach and honesty during the investigation. I always insist on a methodical and professional conduct during any investigation and have a protocol in place to ensure that anything captured on a piece of equipment is validated with a second device for cross referencing. I would always have at least one digital recorder running at any time and a fixed static camera aimed at a rempod for example. I will ask questions and try to establish contact with set questions and ask for confirmation with yes/no answers. I consider myself a serious investigator with a professional approach and although I hate the term I would call myself a sceptical believer. I have investigated many houses, public buildings and businesses up and down the country I have mainly concentrated around North Wales and surrounding areas. I would love to know where you carry out the bulk of your investigations and hope to bump into you guys some day. Keep up the good work and keep refining your investigative procedures. Great videos, thanks. Nic.

That was not decomp. I was an EMT and had to go to LOTS of calls where there was decomp. A soiled mattress,,, yes for sure. But if it had been decomp the mess would have been much bigger and much MUCH darker. Those were not the clothes they were wearing when they were found.. ( mostly because they weren’t ) When a body is found and there is no clear cause of death, everything goes with them. Even if they were old and ill.

Don't think that's decomposition guys, unless body just started to and then removed but in that case the scene would be cleaned up by the decomp cleaning crew after body removed, cause believe me if a person was left to completely decompose on that mattress it would be fully saturated in a much darker brownish, blackish, red fluid everywhere with signs/traces of maggots, that's more likely someone while alive being bedridden and unhygienic, leaving sweat, drool, urine, possibly even feces and blood stains but again way too little fluid/matter left on mattress for it to be a human decomposing on that bed, plus it wouldn't just stink a bit, you would literally be knocked back by scent of death soon as walked in home, never mind right in same room, and even most likely involuntarily start dry heaving if/when got anywhere near it

Guys!! Holy Shit that was off the charts! As a cat person, so happy to see someone is doing their best to take care of the poor thing. This brought up so many questions for me. Did the spirit look so bad from decomposition that that’s why it didn’t want to be seen? Are they still there because of the cat? Can the cat still see its owner? I hope your lungs recovered well after breathing in that air. I’ve known two people who met this type of sad end. Better not say too much on this public place but they were there for days before they were found. Can’t imagine how bad the stench was having been there for months. What a start to the year for the channel guys. Please please please 🙏 go back to this place with a list of questions to ask and more equipment. Love the work you do x🩵👻

I don't believe it was any cat or cats making that noise or whatever that loud noise was in that living room. When that rempod kept going off when you weren't right there, I think I might have left the camera there and went back into the room to continue asking the questions. Woohoo new season!! You two have very quickly become my favorite paranormal investigation team, ever! I have a theory as to why the spirit may not have wanted to be "seen" - perhaps due to decomposing for so long in the home, being dead without a proper burial, the spirit had some conscious guilt, or maybe embarrassment about how they would be found by the living, and was in a thought loop about it? The rempod sounds seemed almost emotional in nature, the way the pitch changed. So fascinating.

Looks to be fairly recently deceased. Bless. Elderly and unwell people actually do live in houses that just become unattended to like this. Likely to be family or neighbours attempting to catch the previous occupant's cat, who will have likely scatted away when the unfortunate person died. Also, if this individual was receiving regular home care, its unlikely the home would have been in such unpleasant and dangerously unhygienic condition.

That loud sound def wasn't a bottle being thrown - it sounded like a collapse of a number of very heavy items behind the door and from a height but when you panned the camera to look - nothing seemed to be collapsed that could explain it - very strange. btw kudos for heading towards the sound I would have been running in the opposite direction - very brave. Also cats are very delicate movers - they move soundlessly - no way do they bump things or walk across plastic wrappers = its not their nature

There's been research into rem pods and most insects large and small can set off the rem pod as they have the ability to generate their own magnetic field due to the way their wings move and also the fluid within their bodies. This is why I'm very skeptical of rempods esp when outside in a forest lol. This one is interesting

Thanks for a great episode! Nice that the timestamps are back 🙂The rem-pod activity was really unusual, it seems like it's been a while since it was triggered that frequently. Also I felt that if the cat was present you'd have noticed it at some point, seeing as you spent hours there. But who knows, it could somehow have been sneaking around causing that loud noise. The REM pod though was really cool and scary at the same time. Already looking forward to your next video ❤

Starting to wonder if something extremely negative at the "Fear Like We've Never Experienced" location didn't attach itself to Elliot. He was apprehensive about leaving there when Joe was being very clear about wanting to leave, by Elliot saying over and over about how he was ready to go too but not making any motions to do so. Then you go into this location and considering what has happened there and the (yuck) what was left would be perfect energy for something negative. Then it wouldn't react to Elliot talking to it and stopping interacting with the REM Pod when he would look out the door, like it didn't want Elliot to see it. Plus the smell being so bad in there that Joe was using a mask yet Elliot seemingly not bothered by it. Just something to think about. I'm real curious to see what happens at the next location to see if anything supports my hypothesis. Keep up the great work you two, you guys are by far my favorite paranormal team and show I've seen in many many years!

Yes I see what you see - and it could be two cat eyes - but it could be yet another bottle as one "eye" stays reflected every time they film that room - plus that sound was far too loud to be created by a cat and no evidence of what actually fell - everything by those chairs stayed the same - nothing fell from a height

Or just stay away so that the cat can relax & get used to the cage so it'll go in for the food! The cat rescue people will have tried calling to it etc before resorting to the trap. Streams of 'explorers' going in there just makes their job, and the cat's life, more difficult. I'd have left the place immediately if I'd seen that someone was trying to catch a stray cat.

It seems as though events like the Rem pod activating only when unobserved, bizarrely defy conditions that would provide correlation and require a non-causal link to be measured, as if somehow direct measurement bursts the bubble and prevents the events from occurring. So many accounts of activity are by single observers or indirect means like cameras, and as soon as there is an attempt to correlate with a second person or other form of measurement, the phenomena stops. It really reminds me of the double slit experiment with its particle/wave duality thing.
