I'm a kiwi and I get teary-eyed watching them walk off. Yea they were Aussies which means they were natural enemies where I come from, but when you take into account how good they were and everything they did for the game I can't help but get emotional when it ends. Sometimes you don't recognize true greatness until it's all over. Thanks Glen and Shane. Respect.

monzasmithNZ Mate, the Kiwis and the Aussies make up the ANZACs. The most effective and efficient fighting unit ever. We can never have the numbers the Russians, Chinese and Yanks can have. So we get clever..... Though we hate losing, we Aussies ADMIRE the All Blacks. Thanks for respecting these two 'average' Aussie cricketers........ Neither could bat at all.... :)

Same here as kiwi who feel in love with the game in the year 2000 as a nine year old the Aussie team we're always on tele and I fell in love with the way they played the game and how dominant they we're Ricky pointing I put him up there with the best captains ever as young Polynesian kid in Aotearoa NZ rugby was suppose to be our sport but cricket become my love and passion and still today I love the sport because of how these players played the game.

What a pair of match winners these two were. I think McGraths length, bounce and accuracy, was astounding. Warne was just a magician. I’m English, but could watch them all day. Michael Parkinson once said, there’s more drama in a Warne over, than you’ll find at any theatre.

That's right up there with the greatest. Also I would happily take Anderson over Bumrah. Atleast Anderson isn't injury prone like Bumrah.

While those two were in the team every home series was a foregone conclusion. Maybe not every match - but every home series. And away series were almost a foregone conclusion - albeit struggling in the subcontinent, but winnable. That's why England, 2005, was such a shock! Well done, again, England!

Over a long period of time McGrath got the better of Sachin more often than not, Also Anderson was equally good against Sachin. If one batsman dominated McGrath it was the great Brian Charles Lara. Respect 🙏

r u sure? banged McGrath too? banging is not hitting couple of fours and Sixers once in a while against champion bowler..I can quote many instances of McGrath winning battles against sachin especially crucial times..

Over a long period of time McGrath got the better of Sachin more often than not, Also Anderson was equally good against Sachin. If one batsman dominated McGrath it was the great Brian Charles Lara. Respect 🙏
