i love female friendships so much, they’re just hard to navigate sometimes, but when you do find the right friendship, it’s priceless!! i’ve been having those problems recently

honestly, you suit almost every hair colour i've seen you test as if you were born with it! in the little girl chat you mentioned, i think that's one of the major tests i would recommend to other girls to see if your friends are real ones. you express interest in someone and if your "friend" immediately jumps into "getting to know" them... well, that is not your friend. then, the "cutting people off" angle is also dependent on the actions that prompted the issue... like if someone did something i'm morally opposed to even if they're just an acquaintance, i would probably cut them off. i'm just not interested in associating myself with people like that and i personally believe that the people you keep around you speak to your character.

Yeeees i totally agree to this. I had a friend of several years but then they did something that is really out of my morals, I cut them off. I cannot afford to be friends with someone who does the opposite of what my values are.

internalised misogyny is heartbreaking when it affects young girls who could be successful on their own, without having to ‘prove’ their worth through male validation. in any case I’m glad you got out of the toxicity though and hope she matured too🥲 also the hair colour is an absolute slay

Any "friend" that perceives you as competition ain't a real friend. It's essentially feeling an unnecessary sense of superiority over someone who genuinely cares about you and only showcases more of your insecurity more visibly. I also agree with another comment here (@tuyetanliu) saying that "cutting people off" is dependent upon the actions which elicit the issue. People like that will only mentally exhaust you and are just best kept in the past. On that note, I absolutely ADORE your hair and this makeup look! Sending lots of love to you Jessica

This brow trick has just blown my mind...🤯 i have pastel pink hair but am naturally dark brown. I have typical asian eyebrows in shape and hair strength/straightness (mum is Chinese) but they're very thick and dark (dad is italian) - so i feel like i look a bit silly with super dark eyebrows and light hair. I agree with you I only had two best colleagues in college and that was enough for me. When you talked about toxic friends I thought about the Korean drama “Marry my husband” her friend in the drama was obsessed with the main girl and was not happy that she found happiness. I hate friends who compete with me whether through life or boyfriends also!! Having toxic friends teaches you to make better choices on good friends who support and uplifts your friendship!

thank you !! ᡣ(˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)𐭩ྀིྀི tbh i sometimes shave too much off on one side too 😭 but what i find helps is backing up instead of being so close to the mirror so u can check that they're even! sometimes we get too close to the mirror when we're focused but then we can't see the other eyebrow so it's hard to keep them even ⚖️

Haven’t finished the video yet but it’s the tea time for me 😭 people like that with their passive aggressive comments like that are just so annoying 💀 Plus chasing around guys who like her friends to show that she was more desirable is just so strange 🗿

Its really heartbreaking when you find out your friends are not really friends- i had a friend that got so jealous and angry when i started making my own friends in HS (I was really shy growing up and she had been p much mt only close friend till then) and made me feel like i was the one in the wrong- as if she didnt tell me to my face she had another best friend i didnt know about till i met her. Im so happy with my friends now , and its so peaceful when its a mutual loving friendship

I'm like lowkey in that last situation you're talking about. One of my childhood best friends for over 10 years started shit talking some of my closest friends now, whom I've known for 6 almost 7 years now. Like at first I brushed it off because she was one of my closest and longest friends, but then when some of my other friends like hated her and cut off all contact with her, I was put in a really uncomfortable position. Even though she has texted me a bit and has asked to hang out, I just don't feel comfortable hanging out with her like I used to. She got into an argument with a bunch of people in our year at school and basically turned them all against her, so I stood by her. But then I heard about more of the things she's done and now I just can't be friends with her the same way we used to be, which I'm upset about. We used to talk all the time and hang out every break from school and now we haven't spoken regularly in over a year, only a few texts here and there, and I haven't been to her house in almost 2 years, and I used to go quite often.

It is still breaking (a) code when someone (goes out of their way) to date someone (after) someone told that person they like that person.

Wow this reminds so much of the friendship I had with one of my “friends” of 10 yrs. Although I haven’t fully cut her off as she’s friends with some of my friends…I’ve definitely limited my contact with her. Although everytime I happen to have to hang out with her…she always ends up making subtle comments like “wow why are so many guys hitting on you”🤦‍♀️ Anyways I’ve always been a bit thick skinned so I’ve never let her comments get to me but it does get a little draining…and I know it stems from her deep insecurities

If one of my so called friend would go for a guy I was crushing on first, then that answers your question. Is she/he a friend? I had an experience where I was talking to a guy and we liked each other and a girl I was mutual with went for him and ended up scooping him. I fought my best friend and that mutual friend cause I sorta knew her and she would hang with us and she has the audacity saying “i saw him first!” Like girl you were a literal nobody, also she tried to be like me like changing her style and even talk like me and hear the music the same. But yet again I was like “girl, you can have him” and later on he regretted it and cheated on her. And I ended up just cutting ties with her but still friends with the best friend but not close anymore which I can careless❤ I am happy with my other friends I can really say “that’s my family”

Girls who act all cute and giggley when they are around boys and only talking about themselves is the biggest red flag ever, I just can't stand those two face girlies. One of my cousin is like that, we hang out on their to celebrate her older sister birthday, her older sister boyfriend and friends were also coming over, and there was this one guy who my other cousin think is cute and thereh is a situationship between them and everyone knows about it and wanted to give them a privacy moment, but my fake cousin have to ruin by going up to the guy and flirting with him and being all clingy and you can clearly see the guy was very uncomfortable, and I just can't stand her anymore so I just went up to her says that it's my other cousin boyfriend that she's flirting with and that she's being delusional if she thinks he will ever like her. She looks so shock and before she could even reply or get angry I just left after saying that. Sometimes you just have to give them a reality check for their egos.
