Great video bro! We had issues on the last boss unfortunately and I had to tank swap as a Warlock I wasn’t able just to sit on the bombs. Be running two seperate tanks and me on solo bomb duty next time which makes it much easier

I would suggest running 1 tank. And just have a meele dps or hunter dps taunt the boss after the side to side life (the tank will be at 4/5 stacks) once the pet or a meele taunts the boss keep aggro until the tanks stacks drop off then he can take the boss back !

The I’m pretty cooked at this point hit home. I went to lvl 38 day one at the end my brain was mush haha nice raid thanks for the vid !!

Good effort after being up and grinding so long. One thing I notice in your play is you tend to sit within 1 lifetap of oom constantly. You really want to have enough mana for a full lake of fire rotation before you cast rain of fire. This was 700 mana in P1, I haven't added it up for P2 yet, but you'd probably want to be around 25% mana or more, so multiple life taps in a row are fine if necessary. You'll do more dps by taking breaks between rain of fire casts to top up mana, then have a full LoF rotation, then life tap some more and repeat.

Yes you’re definitely correct and a solid callout for the video. I agree with this and a lot of it was improper thinking due to the grinding!

Hi, thanks for a great video. Few question tho, on last boss - Do you only change chest rune to 'meta' or do u change anything else that can be useful - i figure chaos bolt isnt much of use? and for rotation, do you one shot bombs with 'searing pain'? and just immolate boss and cast incinerate?

Feral druid with sunfire is actually insane for bombs... i think all groups should do this strat... not worth losing 500 dps from a destro lock

Just wanted to say that the trinket you mentioned is great if you use the Demonic Knowledge Rune, it gives you 10% of your pets accumulative Stamina + Intellect as Spell Power. Essentially it means that trinket gives you +10 spell power :) // Melodol - Lone Wolf

Depending on encounter length, should I cast shadowburn on cd ? Slightly more dmg than incinerate (whose buff is perma uptime anyway) but cost more mana

rank 1 rain of fire (280 mana) seems to be 8% of ones mana pool and must be casted every 15 secs for the 40% buff. It just seems like a passive 10% crit from demonic tactics will net more dps esp with the talent ruin. Maybe at lvl 60 when 280 is only 2% of ur mana pool and u have alot more mana regen from gear/raid members this would be warranted.

I feel like you' d probably get more value out of demoinic tactics over LoF on menagerie. Even once you got the fight down you have to cast it every 4-5 seconds because the mobs are constantly moving so much. I've been running LoF for the last two runs but I'm going to try it out next reset.

For last boss specifically I was just focused on killing bonbs. Yes I was tab targeting bombs there’s also macros for it now to make it better! This was day 1 of the raid so everything was new to us!

Same build only difference is if I’m the designated bomb killer I will use meta. Ideally we have a boomkin or other people dedicated to killing bombs

I did stockades 5 lockouts then turned in pre quest and went to bfd. From here I’d suggest going to SM until 40!

Same thing for us. We couldn't get the boss down. Went meta and we 1 shot it. It's really just if you can't manage the bombs you've got no shot.

I think in this case I should’ve managed mana better around lake of fire and not letting myself oom before I life tap. I think 40% from lake of fire is simply too good to pass on. But I was debating demonic tactics at one point

I had demonic tactics and it was not worth it, my parses were quite bad and I had better gear than him and new runes.

Just finished the raid, boy did i struggled with agroo, had to wait like 30 sec to start hitting the boss and still got agroo, and with pala agroo aura too... maybe my tank was just bad ?

It's crazy how I'm totally pumping as a Warlock, topping the meter, critting 3k+ and still have a shit parse lmao

Is the rune "demonic tactics" on chest really so bad on your build ? I have big mana-isues with "lake of fire" ..... have to constantly tap and lose GCD ---> less dps.... (Rain of fire rank 1) ...

With a pug currently it’s not terrible but as we continue to scale and get more powerful and have a group that is doing the same the boss fights become a lot quicker and lake of fire will quickly take over (it already has) I will be posting a week 2 clear and updated after we clear on Sunday . We killed first boss on Tuesday to accces the epic quest line and I was able to do 640 dps !

Still not popped the chronoboon :D more dmg incoming !

It’s viable but just not near as good as destro currently. I’m expecting big changes to come to it next phase with a rune that gives us unstable affliction and another that makes dots able to crit. Then I expect affliction to potentially pop off

I like the thought, but a lot of my gear is based around +fire spell damage. Incinerate and chaos bolt will outweigh it! I’m excited to do a full clear this week on Sunday to see how much we can pump! I killed the first boss yesterday to have access to the epic quest line and did 640 dps and got rank 1!

Good vid but u guys have like 3 damage dealers... its looking a hell of a lot different in other groups mate, this makes look lock way too good😅

Keep in mind we cleared this the first day of the patch. In our recent clears everyone in the raid is over like 500 dps on bosses. For example last reset I did 720 dps to the first boss without DMF buff and everyone was over 500 in the raid. Things have changed a lot

I have, it’s not near as good as destro sadly but next phase im expecting unstable affliction as a rune as well as a rune that allows our dots to crit. If this happens I can see affliction potentially popping off!

I take sims with a grain of salt. I do need to test a bit. But with how warlocks are scaling i would much rather 6% fire damage to me then 30 % damage increase to imp.

This was 24 hours into phase 2 brother. I have since captured 100 parses and multiple 99s some bosses at nearly 900-1000 dps

Look up my characters enslaved, magetooeasy, shadownlight. 99 parse avg on all 3 last phase and have 100 parses across 5 expansions on my warlock. I didn’t necessarily care about this gnomer parse just more or less showing the vid is from a 99 avg parse player. But I do appreciate your comment very much!

Bro parsing at week 1 is such a wrong metric to go by ;D - Like there was sub 30 parses for most classes during the 2 last bosses, so ofcourse you are gonna get a good (%). I dont know if you are a gamer or not, but make this video again in 2 months and it might have something to its title.,
