    Huge knife and it appears to be very functional for several different types of knife stuff except throwing. 😊

    Damn you got the Rambo knife finally , looks so awesome and deadly at the same time , it's like a piece of art to own and use it , it's definitely screams heavy duty and back off from it's sheer size itself . Would lives to see you do some more cutting and chopping with this. Even the GSD was impressed with it and mostly wanted to go on hunt with you using that knife 😅😅.

    I have to ask. Have you ever hunted large game. Like Deer, Antelope or Elk? That knife would not be very useful for skinning. I used a short blade with a nice belly or curved. That is a "Combat" knife? Okay, you can use it for clearing brush I suppose. But its puny when you look at something like the Cold Steel 1917 Frontier Bowie. Which I own. Yes, self defense.

    @@411Outdoors I used to use the Buck Kalinga. I bought mine back in the mid 80's. Unfortunately Buck no longer makes it. The problem with that Rambo knife, is you would find it very hard to choke up on to get into the fiddly bits of say a deer or elk. The Kalinga has a 5 inch blade, and I love how it handles.

    This seems consitent, anything you post in the links to the products lately is unavailable and unknown when is back... I have a very similar knife and it has two substantial problems: there is no D2 from Pakistan in existence, it feels like 320 stainless cutlery at best, and the thick handle section at the guard makes it ultimately uncomfortable for any power stroke, thin at pommel makes it even worse.

  • @411Outdoors

    @411Outdoors

    You didn’t see it in the link? As far as the D2 claim that’s on them. I don’t have a way to verify. They also say they are manufactured in USA. Do you think they have a USA maker who can get D2?Just a theory

    @@411Outdoors D2 is common and widely available around the world. They use it to make high pressure molds for plastic forming. Problem with Pakistan is that none of thier knives that I have touched so far (around 20 from different brands) use any good steel despite the claim or price. The one that you show is too white and shiny for D2 but that might be a video process that does not convey the true color and specularity of the metal.
