Mario Pinball Land is a reference I was not expecting this game to make. Probably one of the most obscure Mario spinoffs of the 2000s.

The variety is incredible, going from recent titles like Origami King and Dread to some of the arcades like DK Jr. and Dr. Mario

Mario Pinball Land is maybe the most random reference of all of these. Love it! And Mario 64 DS getting some love is great too.

I like how punch out was featured as well as the other games like paper mario, and wii play motion

The SM64DS slide was a missed opportunity. Each difficulty increase could've been a different character... especially since Wario was an SM64DS character!

I love the renewed version of the Animal Crossing minigame

I like how we have both punch out and rhythm heaven references in this game but neither of those games have had a new game on the switch. Justice for Punch Out.

I mean what could you have done with something like Donkey Kong Jr, Super Mario 64 DS and Mario Pinball Land? The game needs simple controls. Doing something like a race with Koopa the Quick in SM64DS would of been too much (and it would of been too repetitive as there are already too many racing microgames)

I feel like it's less fluid. The arms swinging in the running animation feel kinda forced, like they removed the arms from the walking animation and slapped them on the run cycle. But it does make sense as you have to swing your arms to make him move
