Transcript:
The Skaven warlord clan, Clan Fester, are mired in misfortune and afflicted with "the Blood Blight," a disease causing infertility amongst their breeders. Grey Seer Rasknitt, with promises of a cure, has persuaded Clan Fester to move against the man-thing city of Ubersreik.
Their plans, however, were thwarted by five heroes:
Bardin Goreksson, a dwarf warrior on a quest for the lost dwarven hold of Karak Zorn;
Kerillian, the sharpshooting wood elf, who has long left her post as guardian of Athel Loren;
Victor Saltzpyre, a skaven-obsessed witch hunter dedicated to fighting heresy;
Sienna Fuegonasus, a bright wizard, pyromaniac, and Saltzpyre's prisoner,
and Markus Kruber, a former soldier and now prisoner escort.
But Rasknitt would not be denied his genius and our heroes, caught unaware, were thrown into a strange portal and locked away.
Rasknitt then formed a Dark Pact with the Chaos warclan Rotbloods to destroy the realms of man. They have begun construction on the Skittergate, a portal that will allow the Chaos champion Bodvarr Ribspreader and his Rotblood army access to the fortress city of Helmgart -- the next stop on the road to total devastation.
But when the Skittergate conveniently malfunctions, Markus Kruber escapes his cage and frees his friends in the ensuing chaos. Now reunited with Franz and Olesya, our five brave heroes must lop off every single limb and head they encounter, and put Rasknitt down for good.

This Umgak deserves whole chapter worth of Grudges in the book.
Everyone's so focused on the dwarf elf thing, they didn't even notice that Saltz is drawn with two eyes.

@@lukecarroll9823Yes, and it is always depicted with a grey/milky iris. Every other fan depiction of Saltzpyre shows this.

@@lukecarroll9823 I hope i'm understanding you correctly, FireGamer was stating that due to the lack of not having his right iris being grey/milky and instead black like his healthy left eye he is depicted with having two actual eyes, at least that was my understanding of it. Being nitpicky basically; of not having that detail represented in the drawing.

I like the story , Vermintide 1 was so popular it's canon now. But I really like MY headcanon. About 5 angry librarians collecting overdue books from some rat infested locations and also save the world by accident. ;)

victor only has one eye but he doesnt wear an eyepatch so i can see the confusion
i was never into warhammer before and this game looked like another copy of l4d but with rats, decided to check anyway, 3k hours later ... yeah, this game is ok, i would even dare to say it is good.

In the first game, Saltzpyre was escorting Sienna to a trial for suspected murder and arson of a noble. It just so happens that they and Kruber passed by Ubersreik when the Skaven invaded the hapless city. With few options left, Salty freed Sienna and deputized her to fight the rat hordes in exchange for her freedom - a trial by fire, if you will.

Everyone kept talking about dwarf elf but nobody seemed to notice that Saltzpyre has both his eyes in this.

GREAT MOUNTAINS, WALHBURG (is it Reikland or somewhere else?) "BARDIN GOREKSON A DWARFELF ON A QUEST..." (in subs, Dwarf Warrior. He is not a warrior, he is a Ranger and you show Slayer anyway.) ONE-EYE HAS 2 EYES NOW! Body has been truly blessed. Kerrilian (in VT1 HANDMAIDEN stuff did not happen yet and its not determined anyway): What we see - Handmaiden. What we hear - hey its waystalkerish. Sienna (in VT1 HELMGART! UNCHAINED stuff did not happen yet and its not determined anyway): What we see - Unchained without burning hair. What we hear - Pyromancer. Kruber Same stuff: In VT1 story part, he is depicted as knight. Rashknit made a packt with random Leech. Bodvar is talked about like he is not an actual leader of Rotbloods.
