I'd rather players actually tried to play well. The Chaos player lost me when his Chaos Knights took a charge from this unit on the 2nd turn instead of running away and leaving Manfred to fail the charge and be left with his flank ready to be charged by Warriors and front by the other unit of knights. He might have as well reformed his units facing his own table edge at this point...

loving your battle reports, nice and time conscious :) A few times chaos had to roll for a break test, but because they were outnumbered by a fear causing enemy they would just auto break :)

Yes Neville (my opponent here) has a heap of old school models from 4th edition. Really brings the Fantasy vibe and look so cool. Shame his dice rolls weren’t as cool though lol

I've been looking for more narrative battle reports, and I appreciate the added humor and visual effects. Thumbs up. On a spoiler note: My friend used to crush me with his chaos knights in 6th ed., so I was happy to see these ones get destroyed.

Bless you for Running Mannfred quit possibly one of the best things 6th editions book had going for it. The FREE SPELL every turn would have dwarfs crying by turn 3. As they would be hard pressed to continue stopping a free Curse of Years every turn. Good job on bringing 2 units of Wights this time they proved to be quit durable against a tough opponent. This is quit possibly the best 6th edition battle report involving counts that I've seen in ages.

Hey Dwaine, I like your meme-laden battle reports. One thing: you always "complain" about combat resolution for your undead, but forgot your ultimate weapon in the game (unless I missed something ;) ): Winning a battle with fear-causing units (and outnumbering) means you automatically break your enemy :D Kind regards FA

Jajaja good battle rep dude... some rules mistakes, absolutely crazy army lists (mainly VC one), a lot of very "strange" strategic decissions both sides....but man, i have laughed a lot. More of this, please! One more thing: combat res is very strange, but that is the only solution to make undead "viable". Without this rule, they would be unbreakable, and should cost an absurd amount of points, or would be unbeatable. Knowing this, for the god sake, don´t put yourself in a position such that passive combat bonus could smash you. Don´t let US5 units charge you in the flank or rear, don´t charge with cavalry gigantic blocks of dwarfs on the front, and so on

Thanks man. Yes I get GW needed to add the crumble rule to balance the game and make undead break somehow but damn it’s a story killer. Still a fun game though

Yeah the crumbling is a story killer for sure, but making the enemy units auto-fail break tests when they're outnumbered is shite to go up against!

Finally, the proper Black Knight Bus, just like they were supposed to be played in 6th, instead of those pointless small 5-6 strong lines the rest of YT is using... ! Although why Chaos Knights took a charge from this unit on the 2nd turn instead of running away and leaving Manfred to fail the charge and be left with his flank ready to be charged by Warriors and front by the other unit of knights is a shock for me. 8th edition is my favorite. Especially due support attacks and horde formation.

For Undead armies like Vampire Counts and Tomb Kings, when they lose combat res, the unit takes the amount of wounds equal to how much they lost combat res by
