The Thousand Sons, despite competing against the truly sad and terrible outcomes of the other traitor Legions, are the most tragic. They didn't just lose who they were, and become monsters, the Rubricae lost EVERYTHING about themselves. Ahriman meant well. He truly did want to save his brothers, especially after losing his single familial brother, to the horrific mutations of the flesh change. But Tzeench can be a really REALLY ignorant fucking asshole, and had to twist Ahriman's efforts in a "be careful what you wish for, which actually means be careful how you word what you wish for" moment. Fucking douche deserved to get psychic punched in the face by The Emperor when he was taking back the soul of Magnus.

GrimDark Narrator Yes exactly. They do all do it, at least partially. But Tzeench ALWAYS does it, and does it more completely each time. I've read A LOT of WH40K information. I'm not gonna be foolish and say I know it all, but I know a good amount. From what I've read, along with the videos I've watched to learn other peoples' impressions on the lore, I strongly think that about the Chaos Gods. They all give their faithful double edged blessings... But Tzeench... Man...

With Tzeentch, I think he's either gonna be the proverbial last one standing, since everything else was...just as planned, or he will consume himself precisely because even his own destruction would be...just as planned.

Agreed. Unless GW REALLY wants to throw a Game of Thrones style dramatic curveball, that sounds exactly like it'll be. It's funny how the Just As Planned joke from those awesome Text To Speech Emperor videos is so dead on. I mean, how often does a joke become reality?..... Actually... I take that back, considering my country's presidential race ended up with a tactless buffoon winning over a dishonest criminal as the final two candidates. I had actually joked with my brother that with human nature the race would end up between those two... I hate being right sometimes lol.

Thanks for another great video- you had me laughing out loud a few times. That’s something rare on channels that deal with 40K, and it’s a great part of your videos. It’s funny, every time I start to think “wow, those Plague Marines are pretty cool “, I remember- “oh yeah- they’re supposed to smell overwhelmingly of shit” like you pointed out. I guess, based on that alone, I’d prefer to join the Rubricae, and fear only lemony Pledge. Thanks again! =][=

I just prefer to use a low key joke here and there when I think the lore connects to one. Arch Warhammer is pretty funny in his lore videos. I haven't followed any others since I'm too busy making my own, lol.

Oculus imperia is pretty cool, but more in-character than humorous. Importantly, in his videos i've heard fresh lore details about 40k subjects that I'm otherwise well familiar with. Pretty cool. Might wanna give that channel a look, GDN

William Strong Not that you asked, but I totally agree- that channel is fantastic, too. Whereas this channel is like having one of your friends explain something to you, Oculus Imperia is like listening to a professor giving a lecture (on a subject that you’re interested in!). =][=

It also makes it hard to see their total forces from the ground, as their helmets obscure what is behind them. This is advantageous to both the rubrics, and the sorcerers controlling them.
