Awesome opening image, Narrator, among others in this video. Drake's musings on mud men are drawn more from the realm of Warhammer Fantasy than space 40,000 years in the future. The Mjordhainn are certainly different for a 40k xenos species. At first, before the museum discovery, I was beginning to wonder if the queen's legend might not be rather an ancestral myth. The creatures seem more like very elaborate golems animated by magic rather than a sentient species of a complex biosystem. Hunting horns and dragons...what intelligence lurked behind such a xenos organism apparently lifted up from out of the very earth of the planet? With the rogue trader captain's records returning to the ravenous space bats previously covered by GDN, I just recently, coincidetally saw imagery of what these aliens (or their alternate ancestors) might look like, as a biker gang attacking a hitch hiking Spider-Man 2099 in a comic book. That some of the 40k humanoid chiroptera have grown pairs of wings while others haven't - is that due to differences in sex or caste, I wonder? Thank you for adding yet two more to illustrious sir Drake's extensive entries on the many non-human beings he's encountered, within and without the Blackstone Fortress, GDN. I completel;y agree with you, we're on the same wavelength, over either and both of these species being ripe material for novel renditions. Until then, and 'til you're back with another welcome report from the Liber Xenologis, take care and have an awesomely healthy weekend, Narrator. The Emperor protects!

Oh boy Mike I think that they're some sort of sorcery that got out of hand myself I think your theory about the queen not telling all what really happened could be a clue of how the Mjordhainn came into existence?," 🤔👍

What the Lion did to that Khrave god was epic. It was like the watchmen when rorschach is in prison and tells them he isn’t trapped with them but they are trapped with him on the inside.

The khrave could have been a glorious race to have. I can see them replace the dark eldar. I know we had to have the space dark elves but i find the aesthetic kf thes ebeasts much more interesting.

we love to tell stories about encounters with xenos of warhammer but in any of our games we only saw khrave once on a xenos space station in cages being traded to the dark eldar
