Oh i didn't take it that way i figured you were reiterating what others had said as a joke to kinda introduce the way protea is, this is common for you as you have this thing called a sense of humor which i also have xd. No worries tacti. Never feel compelled to be anyone but yourself. I use to find it hilarious that you used to say "subscribe or don't, like or don't and thanks for watching" been watching your videos almost 7 years now i for one don't get offended by you in the least as i understand your humor quite well ^_^ no worries from this fan.

I thought of a ultimate support set up garudas skill that impales enemies and heals Garuda and her allies on wisp with wisps buff plants and proteas despensers basically a buffer warframe

Don't make fun of Vauban's balls. Protea's balls are impressive, but Vauban's balls are classic and still good for Void Cascade.

I find that as long as you have equilibrium, there's no need for energize. Remember the big boy super health orb drops from dispensary, that's your energize right there. Instead use it as a flex slot, i put molt augmented.

I used to run without energize, just had 2 tauforged shards for energy orb efficiency. Dispenserys orbs are 50 energy each at base... But I kinda wanted to try something different with those shards so back to energize it is. Always run molt augmented tho, my 2nd arcane used to be accelerate on protea.

Arcane Energize dropped frequently during the Murmur event, and has been in game for a lot longer than the Molt augments.

@@13g0man molt augmented at max rank costs less than two r0 energizes. That should tell you something which one is easier to obtain. Energize only drops from eidolons which are harder to farm than augmented, which can drop from zariman angels, or bought with holdfast standing.

Even though she's the better Vauban, I still use Vauban anyway. That turret can do some damage but nothing's more satisfying than yeeting a photon strike to enemies in a vortex pile. Her prime design is where it's at though 👍

The difference between Protea and Booben is that DE didn't re-design 90% of the game against Protea's kit.

A reminder not to use augur mods anywhere in your loadout with protea. The small amount of sheilds you get from it overrides her enhanced sheild gate. This also means if someone is using a brief respite aura mod in your squad it also screws you up.

Protea is my go to frame when the going gets tough. She’s got so much self sustaining capability to keep her abilities active especially with archon shard enhancements.

I love the thumbnail, Tater. Thanks for the funny intro and the shade thrown at Vauban lmao. Great work on the video on Protea Prime. 😊 Me personally, I subsume Gloom over her 4 because her passive helps with the increased slow.

I personally love Tempest Barrage on Protea, being able to spread heat, slash, corrosive and viral with a pair of emerald shards on her is just so satisfying. With Equilibrium I have never had any issues with energy and just spamming abilities with amber shards in making casting time super fast, I just have so much fun.

That title and thumbnail really make it seems like protea is a new frame

I have Roar subsumed on her 4th which can be boosted by her passive

I am pretty sure that if you use pillage, maximum shield you can get is 2.5 second hard cap due to pillage restoring shield overriding passive from grenade ability. You can get about 4.5-5 second shield reliably from her fast ability. So unless you want to get rid of her S.G. by half, get some other means of armour stripping. You can verify this by going to warframe wiki Shield page and going to section of shield gate.

I wish that her rewind set the duration of her abilities back to what they were when she first cast it.

I didn't remove her 4 because the 'visuals were disorienting' I removed it because it's a mediocre ability and I'm not wasting a mod slot on an augment for an ability I don't like when I could just use a better armor strip

I've been loving her. Even bought her deluxe skin! I only started playing her OG version just before the Prime release, but I liked her straight away. I only wish her 4 weren't such a PitA in so many ways (the gobbling up of drops that then disappear because of the state snapshot is the main thing I hate), so it's Pillage for me. It's a shame because I like a good, characterful "ultimate." If DE could fix that and patch out the shield gate issue with Brief Respite/Auger set I'd be so happy.

Any chance of revisiting Vauban? He's really handy in natracel (might have misspelled sorry) missions

How are you orange criting with her blaze artillery?

i found that if i use energy regen aura and energy nexus and subsume her dispensory off in favor of nourish, i get 12-15 energy a second and can go sky high with zenurik, plus restore energy to the squad AT THAT RATE, PLUS gve everyone viral attacks. i still have her 1 2 4 and the augment and would not play her any other way. providing 30 energy a second and viral makes her a better pick for many reasons and factions.

I think if the targeting of her turrets wasnt that weird (you need to point it at an enemy, afterwards it has great tracking) she would be one of my favorite frames

The dispensary cycles? Doesnt it give one of each every few seconds?

Tell you what im a protea main cant seem to get her chassis relic to drop for me any tips on getting this relic where to go and what mission is the best for farming part

Still the queen of the battlefield. ... still prefer Wisp Prime, but Protea Prime is a beast. Those turrets. Also love Dispensary on my Rhino Prime.

They are pretty good. If you subsume roar over her 4th ability. You can benefit nicely from her passive and precision intensify which is free 190% ability strength

Protea Prime's design is cool and all but I honestly find her a bit lacking. I prefer to use Vauban Prime instead. good cc and damage output imo

I will never use Protea I am a diehard Vauban fan and I am kind of annoyed that Protea exists as Vauban will never have the same survivability as her and you need to do so much more to make him work.

I don't see her being better than Vauban at all moreso a different take on the engineer. I see no need to compare the two at all. I for one would actually use Vauban whereas i find no interest in Protea her kit feels awkward for me to use compared to Vauban. This essentially is why I say better is a subjective term in most cases of comparison, if a kit feels more fluid or can be wielded more efficiently then a stronger weapon will become irrelevant. I tend to think of it like this a sniper rifle or a grenade launcher has higher power in skilled hands than a claymore or hammer in practicality but when the wielded is a neanderthal for example the compatibility between the hammer and claymore are just so much higher compared to trying to arm them with a sniper rifle or a grenade launcher(in the case of the grenade launcher the caveman will likely blow themselves up alongside their opponents making it even less viable due to the likely outcome of said caveman trying to bludgeon enemies with the weapon while loaded.)
