If it gets fixed then hopefully they will Fix Punch Through aswell... Rendering this Discovery Suboptimal.

The 7th and 8th target will only be taking about 17% and 13% damage from the chain. I guess some damage (with status procs) is better than zero damage. But since Torid kills so incredibly fast, the last two targets would get pushed up the chain just as quick as it would take the first two targets to die. Might be noticeable, might not be.

yeah, the weapon will perform identically until there are >6 enemies to chain to, and even then you're getting a

U can also use instead of firestorm bladed rounds for some extra crit-dmg. So u need less rounds for the enemys and can stay longer in incarnon mode

fun fact: torids beam has a silly little quirk where it will just kinda look for enemy heads if the pack is large enough so its entirely possible to run primary deadhead, get the same damage buff except for significantly longer duration + extra headshot multiplier (and reduced recoil but that doesnt really matter on torid)

Honestly i think this is overkill, the torid kills so quickly that youre already chasing down new groups of enemies constantly, meaning finding a group large enough that the 2 extra enemies in the chain actually exist isnt as likely as youd think. The only time you should use primed firestorm instead of a more useful mod is in endurance runs since the time to kill will be much lower and the self priming will actually matter.

Exactly the video I was looking for! I am a bit late to the party, but I was wondering what Primed Firestorm did. I was hoping it increased the AOE of enemies hit after the innitial hit, but sadly it doesn't. Not sure if the extra two enemies are worth it for a viral/electric build if they last two are taking significantly reduced damage.

@@kyaii Yeah Rad is good, pretty sure it's like half enemies weak to Corr, half to Rad, right? Sadly the combined Rad mod for primaries has pretty meh secondary stat.

Why use primes firestorm when you can use primed shred to buff atack speed (damage in case of beam weapons) and penetration to 3 enemies in line and hit 15 enemies with the passive ?

I do love me some beam weapons...like the amprex...but...I find I get the most fun out of high Damage per shot accuracy weapons. like tiburon with critcial precision. what would you suggest of the incarnons for that type of play?

You should run punch through instead. Every target hit with the main beam will create its own set of chains. Even in a group of 2 or 3 damage will be much higher if you are hitting 2 enemies as you get 2 full damage hits 2 half and 2 25% where as this is 2 extra chains at the end which get reduced drastically. You can substitute the halving with 75% since the torid scales better with chains than other weapons, but the point still stands.

The punch through comment is just false. Punch through doesn't affect Torid Incarnon in any way.

It’s pretty meh but you can shoot zephyr tornado if it has an enemy and it will charge your incarnon

When you bullet jump you hit click aim immediately and it will change your standard bullet jump into that gliding action you see here.

if warframe had more creators like you that just cut to the point and explain things accurately and quickly, this game’s community would probably be way better off. Way too many people would pounce on the opportunity to make a 26 minute video about this

Firestorm is barely worth the damage it adds due too the chaining further lowering the damage making those extra enemies take very little damage... but the main problem is gaptitude. You are dealing 2 status effects and gaptitude is bugged to not include the base damage increase evolution, lowering its should-be bonus by about 1/3rd. Thats a lot less than even serration

I was using primed firestorm when i first started using the weapon a few months ago, and was told multiple times it didnt work on the Torid's beam. This is what i get for not testing things myself. But im also a Zephyr main, so its hard to notice anyways since everything is balled up all the time.

PRIMED firestorm is nice, but when going back in forth with other mods, theres just better options, adding serration for instance stacks toxic damage a TON, that extra slot can be used to make this thing even better, even without it it still hits multiple targets and all around is just better with other mods, in my opinion primed bane of corrupted, primed serration or a riven mod is just better

Been well known since the incarnon first came out. Not needed, just mod it for normal usage. Also not to burst your bubble: Galvanized Apt does not multiply like you think it does on the Incarnon mode, it's only additive with the status stacking, best to just use ASerr on it or just add in a non-harmful element, like the new Rad mod or even Hammer Shot for more CD and SC.

Hell yeah. I found one person talking about this and i used it eversince! Nobody seemed to use Firestorm, even tho its also really good for the normal shots!

Each extra enemy chained does 75% of previous, so with 6 enemies hit you're doing 328.81% of base. With firestorm, you would get +18% damage on 7th, +13% on 8th to a total of 360%. Compared to 6 enemies hit it's a 9.4% damage increase, and that's only for situations where there are more than 6 enemies around to chain to. A 9.4% increase for 16 capacity seems... Kinda not worth? at that point just put hammer shot or the new status damage mod.

What mods would you change on this build if your fighting the Murmur faction?

Yes. 5%per hit, you didn't count hits from multishot, right?

use up a whole mod slot to chain to 2 more? I don't know. You lose damage or rate of fire or something in exchange. They don't need to patch it. It is almost a break even. You usually don't have like 5 guys around you anyway outside the Simulacrum.

i use prime shred but only for fire rate, and didnt want to use the downsite of the other fire rate mode with -dmg. It feels like that fire rate also increase the non incarnon mode (flight speed) but it can be just a feeling.

Here's the thing, Tupapcu. People that complain about something being brain dead ironically are not very bright, and they don't even understand why they say what they say. What they're doing is giving a negative connotation to something for being efficient, and looking for a pat on the back for using equipment that requires "skill". In reality, they're simply playing less effectively than everyone else and putting in more effort to do so. But they are proud of themselves because they are special, and different than everyone else. It's a common theme in gaming communities. Usually PvP communities. It's a good laugh.

R u sure its exaclty like his. I did exaclty his and getting similar damage. First make sure your mods r fully upgraded. For example if they were all equiped but all at rank 0, that still wouldnt get u high damage. Upgrading mods is what gets u the insane damage. Also make sure you have your mods in his order like in same slots. Mod order does affect status like for example if u put cold mod-toxin mod-electriciry mod, that would give u viral status. But if u swap toxin and electriciry it will give u corrosive. Now i know he does have only cold and toxin and rest r like crit and ms so idk if those also affect mod order but better safe then sorry. Id also recamend using the viral build. I tested it myself with both and corrosive did way less damage for me. Finally use the riven mod he has in the video. Its not equiped but it shows in his mod inventory below the slots for the gun.

Most mods that can be upgraded up to level 10 I only upgraded to level 9 because i didn't had enough endo and credit. So that is why my output damage not to big. Thanks man for replying my question. Firestorm basically adds more damage, and I'd rather have a third damage type for gundition so it can be self sustainable for even modes without companions. The gain here isn't worth it as killing other targets faster would just allow you to still wipe them just as fast, if not faster. Gundtion with only 2 damage types makes zero sense. 80•2= 160, which is lower than serration's 165% without needing to get kills for the damage. Adding one more damage type like heat/fire for example will make it 240%, or you can get another from nourish for example, or other frame abilities, but not every build will have abilities like this. This is a personal preference, but 165% without needing to work for it sure sounds better than 160% needing to work for it. Then again, im thinking about things without companions like circuit.

you can easily run another element in the free slot for either build, which would make up for the loss not even considering that many other elements can be present without directly modding for them circuit isn't a great example because of decrees where you can get a multitude of statuses just through them

Spoken as uninformed theoretical opinion. While could make sense, you haven't tested and offer no proof. Everyone has preferences, but whether they are superior to what's shown is undecided. I run prime firestorm and it melts with a few taps, letting HM finish them.
