i did the math for all the range mods and the trait on the weapon. You got 12.5 meters of range

Edward Scissor Hands has now entered the line up.

Berserker and Spring Loaded Blades is a really fun combo for fist and claw weapons, gives the feeling of that kung fu master focusing on one guy then spinning around and killing everyone in the room. I finally got Hildryn Prime and started picking a melee weapon for her, I ended up with a kinda unusual build on the Kogake Prime, put spoiled strike and prime heavy trauma, prime fever strike, berserker fury, spring loaded blade, volcanic edge and pressure point Also melee retaliation for more damage when you have more shields So it's really high raw damage with impact and gas, and it gets faster and wider range as you go, haven't tried it in any high level stuff yet but it feels different and evaporates rooms of low level corpus

Oh shit Tenokai absolutely makes this weapon much better.

With all the melee videos you have been putting out. A revision of the Rauta to pair it with all those nice melees would be nice to see (also very interested in your take of that shotgun in general).

@@MCGamerCZ people been calling me out for using mouse button 4 for melee for 10 years now (mb5 for heavy attacks since melee 3.0)... i honestly don't understand why i would dedicate a finger off my keyboard to just melee button when my thumb is already free and i need that finger for something else

@@buzdalys5524 That sounds like a comfy control scheme, tbh. Been using Scroll Wheel down for Operator mode so I can Zenurik bubble in one swift motion. Mouse keybinds are underutilized, I feel.

I use MB4 for crouching since I can't hit control/shift to crouch to bullet jump with spacebar.

yeah only if (sorry for that) you are an idiot... its a game you should have fun and play a lot of diverend stuff and try new wierd stuff if you only whant the "best" thats a you problem. and pls i do not whant to be insulting... its just MINMAXING kills fun. and this comes from someone who has almost everything in this game

I was super happy to see someone give this weapon the love it deserves! Niche weapons with unique builds are super fun to mess with, and this one is no exception!

You should take a peek at the Pupacyst if you haven’t yet. An updated build with Melee Influence and Condition Overload spreads a lot of statuses for lots of CO damage very quickly. I had it in my Deep Archimedea last night and it performed rather well.

Pro Tip. Heavy Attacks have a long windup. You can roll cancel to keep the combo counter.

I run these on Voruna and they're absolutely amazing for her. With the buff from her 1 giving you a fixed 100% crit chance (and forced slash procs) on melee weapons (as well as more crit damage) you can skip Blood Rush for another mod such as Discipline's Merit or a Bane (depending on whether you want more damage or QoL)

Amazing video as always my guy, ive been a fan for a long while and this build is pretty similar to my hespar build, mine had some issues to make it do steel path but ive thought about a build like this, ive put so much range on it and a light attack build so that everything gets squeezed by tennokai even tho i dont have that tennokai mod, just the base one but with a riven i got the range really far and i feel like a true grim reaper because my god the hespar has to be one if not the best melee looking weapon and i use it with my boy harrow with his void skin because thats his signature mele and if you say no ur fooling yourself it looks GORGEOUS and i feel so happy my setup after so much testing, grinding and spending worked like a charm and ended similar to this! I think you could have a good time with the reaper scythe my dude, i just put corrosive on the wepon and my hound to spread viral

You should check out the steflos, nice satisfying sound design and the visual effects are amazing. Helps that it's also a pretty decent gun at base but often underutilised.

I really should give these another shot like with the other weapons you've done for the playlist. I got them to 30 with some random cookie cutter build and never looked back at them. On that note. I've been playing around with the Zymos again after I suggested it last video. Paired it with the Scourge Prime for the bullet attractor alt fire. I didn't realize it could send mobs into space if you get enough headshots on them lol

I've been working on a "creepy rad alien" out of Mesa and these work amazing as cosmetic hands if you're not gonna melee much (All black, Fulmin prime & laetum, pale green energies)

4:50 you're not even using your gap-closer spin on vermillion to just put everyone in an 10 meter radius in a blender and build ludicrous combo, and then spin again with the heavy cause you procced tennokai. I built mine without crit but with healing return and some heat for the viral and +exposure. you know how the corrosive viral goes. Although I did have a space saver riven basically that had it's own range on it...

I'd love to see your take on the tetra (and tenet version too!)

Hear me out: ditch Blood Rush and Body Count for +90% and 60/60 electricity mods, swap arcane to Influence and cc/damage entire tilesets with your attacks

I have built these for crit to get close to 100% crit chance on heavy to go bloody crazy with the 360 degree slashes with melee duplicate

Now, How about Lesion and the Pupacyst? Lesion is pretty basic, but they both have the same Passive, when you proc status they gain attack speed and 100% Toxin (which mixes with a spare element on your weapon if you don't mod in toxin) I think making the Pupacyst a Gas stick with a ton of range could be hillarious, especially because it can get so much more toxin than most other weapons so the Gas Procs should actually do good damage (and they're both high status weapons so it's easy to go 100%+ with weeping wounds)

Please revisit the sarpa, I'd love to see what you can do with it. I recently had some fun with it and was surprised how strong it is against armoured enemies with some help from tennokai mods especially discipline's merit since a single attack basically maxes out the 4x hit requirement which means every second hit is tennokai. I was getting 506,000+ slash ticks. Please give it a try👍🏻

i wish we could mod followthrough, id love to smack 5-10 enemys and somehow do 4x-10x dmg to that 1 enemy
