"Collecting ammo grants 5 Melee Combo counter" Isn't bad at all. It lets you stay at 12x for the whole mission while not having to restrict yourself to only using melee in order to maintain combo count. The +34% status is definitely better if you are intending on that dedicated melee playstyle, but being able to pull out a fully combo-built melee after spending the last minute shooting your guns will be better for the majority of missions; particularly non-endless mission types.

I really like this perk on the Praedos for Gara. Makes it real easy to keep that 12x, without having to worry about her Splinter Storm getting too strong and killing the enemies before you can whack them on the head. Bow type weapons are great for this, as they don't need to reload and can constantly pick up ammo ^_^

Combo count is the best incarnon perk across the board. Pair it with melee guidance (no dexterity arcanes which is good cuz you should be running secondary encumber for max primer anyway) and build it for max combo duration and gladiator set and you have red crits on every exalted melee in the game. Works for baruuk, wukong and to a lesser extent excal. Especially nice for baruuk cuz you never have to leave fists and just continue to red crit, paired with 340 str (shards) and molt augmented, can get full strip on pillage for baruuk giving him level cap viability as his fist’s average around 3m per wave, more than enough for stripped level cap enemies. Cant stress this enough, its the best stat stick perk in the game by a wide margin

These used to be my #1 blades for coptering… anyone remember coptering? 😂 with Berserker I’d spin so hard I’d fling myself literally right out of the map

The VFX for the toxin clouds is really pretty! I imagine that combining that + Saryn 3 Augment + 100% Armor Strip could kill quite nicely.

It doesnt but tbh the augment damage hasnt been the best for a while i would say just push the dps of venom dose and toxic lash with a armor strip claps on its own .

For a corpus killer on steel path, I found the toxic clouds to add that little bit of damage that helps. Similar to using Saran’s contagion cloud augment

3 or 4 extra range like some other Incarnon melees got for their Incarnon mode would still be so much better even against Corpus, than this extra clutter on screen that does no damage.

I picked these ones, too. Even if they are not as powerful as the other options, I have a soft spot for dual swords. Also, these babies have a shape that kind of reminds me of the Blades of Chaos, so that's a big plus.

Ive seen some builds going viral with slash and just pounding. Can also go gas with Zepher and wreck with them as well. Or Saryn. Or xaku seem some crazy mixes with these things pumping some extreme numbers. Cant wait to get home from work this week to put these bad boys to the test. As they have been my favs since way back in the day.

I was here 9-10 years ago when you were putting out coptering videos using the Ichors, they have also been on my favorites list for a decade and its beautiful to see them get an upgrade now

It was my first pick. I have a crazy crit riven for it and I’m very happy with the boosted stats. Incarnon for it needs a bit of a boost though

I used to love the dual ichor back in the day when melee coptering was still a thing, and the dual zoren. Man that's going back now, I feel old. They're still one of my most used melee weapons apparently.

I also picked the Dual Ichor, mainly because I'm looking to change my swords of choice for my Excalibur, which has 5 melee crit damage archon shards and Warcry subsumed. Voruna might also be insane with them because of her melee crit damage buff and heavy attack efficiency, but I'll have to test once I get the adapter

They gave us nice candies, but holy hell are they making us put our hours in for them.

Twin Swords still have some of the absolute best stances in the game, and the Ichor's have pretty great base starting stats. They can also do slash-viral with minimal modding sort of like the Kuva weapons. Yes it's boring, but it *100%* still shreds basically anything you bump into, steel path or otherwise. The other one I grabbed was the Torid. I've managed to make that gun work in the steel path already (riven's help), and I just have a thing for guns like the Torid or Phage that have some crazy potential due to their riven disposition. Don't have the Torid genesis yet, should soon, but I'm hoping it's fun at least.

May I know what stats do you have on your torid riven and what would you recommmend? Got a torid incarnon too and it just shreds everything even with 1 tap the entire screen at SP My riven has something like +160% crit damage and around 115% multi shot. Thinking if there is a better conbo and if I should keep rerolling as regular torid struggles at SP even with this riven. (The incarnon is stupid bonkers though)

@@rockyrockie581 150% crit chance, 95% multishot, 81% projectile speed. I like crit chance given the weapon's base stats and the fact it enabled good use of munitions, but not knowing what the incarnon stats are, crit damage might be even better now. Either way multishot + crit something is going to be a strong option. The unfortunate part is that the spike in popularity is likely to see the riven disposition tank, so I wouldn't invest in it too much, since like what happened with Glaive rivens when glaives were reworked, the benefits they offer will just continue to go down as the next few prime frames come out.

Love these things. Basically my signature melee. Would recommend it to everyone in terms of fun and destruction. Plus i even got a pretty nice riven for it of: CD, AS, -HAE

Definitely got these cause I too have a soft spot for the Dual Ichor. I think they're pretty fun and as I haven't done any max level steel path missions yet, they seem pretty fun in lower level ones 😅

I enjoy the other 2 ev that 5 add combo on target affects by toxic, with saryn’s toxic lash you can get instead 12x. But out of all the incarnon melees the ichor is the best. I also picked the torid

I personally am going to pick up the atomos and the Dual toxocysts. Atomos because well it's the atomos even if it does look slightly underwhelming and the Dual Toxocysts because the modifiers for it look insane. Condition overload on a gun? Sign me up.

I've been playing since VayHek was a grineer butcher on a corpus tileset, so, I def remember the Ichor and how strong they used to be; BUT despite my love for them I went for the Torid and the Dual Toxocyst. The Torid is def good BUT not all that interesting. The Dual Toxocyst are freaking amazing (imo) tho, def my now second fav secondary.

I ended up grabbing a Miter and Atomos this week. Playing with the Miter so far has been neat, though one perk consumes extra ammo on multishot which chews up the incarnon form too quickly imo. The other perk in that tier requires channeling to activate.

isnt the other one a fire rate one? im not sure but switch off from the extra ammo on multishot, the miter can one hit acolytes with the correct build now so that multishot on extra ammo is just a waste of its form

Picked dual ichor with the Torid. Mostly grabbed the ichor because I haven't gone for any of the duviri incarnon melee weapons yet.

As soon as I saw these I knew you’d have a video on them tater! It made me remember the days of warcry valkyr with dual ichor or zoren tearing chunks out of the infested in Derelict Defence.

You can actually preview what each evolution does by hovering over the images of each weapon on the Roman numerals in the reward path selection screen, and you can preview what the incarnon melees do. Unfortunately this cannot or currently does inform on what a gun's incarnon form does differently than normal.

I think I'm going to skip these weapons cuz I don't feel like forming and making it again

4:00 this right here is why I wait a few days before I lock in my incarnons. I check out vids just like this and general community consensus. I don't like going "meta" but at the same time I don't want to end up regretting a choice. Dual Ichor is also an old favorite of mine, but I'm still on the fence about grabbing it - not because it's one of the weaker options, but because there are other fun ones I have my eye on.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the weapon's incarnon and I'm glad I chose it, I missed out on the ceramic dagger but I'll try the nami solo next week

the dual ichor incarnon is easily one of if not the best E spam melee at the moment because of that status chance and high crit multi, but, melee spam is kind of dead in the water and people like to use weapons for their stat buffs or heavy damage so its a bit outstripped

One day I hope there will be a story written about that OWL on your outro screen. Maybe even a little animation?

I went with the safe picks this week. Miter and torid. Was going to pick the dual ichor, but like u said. The melee weapons have been a little underwhelming.

im a sucker for beam weapons, on xbox the quanta vandal is my most used weapon and on pc its the vermisplicer, so when i saw the torid is just the vermisplicer on crack i had to pick it up. my other choice was the miter, homing saw discs just sounded fun.

Ichor and Torrid were my choices for the week

I took the Ichors and Miter. Mostly cause I never use Torid, never was a fan of it, never use the Toxocyst outside of mastery rank, and was never a fan of the Atomos. So the choices for me were... Melee I rarely use, or primary I rarely use. Specially compared to previous weeks which had really dang good incarnons imo.

I have a good riven for these.. CC Range, - inf but still will prob go w torid and do these next time

I got a 9.1x CD multiplier with a riven that also gives me free electricity, when I take these for a spin the red numbers are crazy, can't wait to test the incarnon :) and if it's underwhelming as people are claiming, prolly they gonna get an incarnon buff eventually.

picked Atomos and Ichor. Missed the first 3 weeks because I had to emergency grind nightwave that I'd been neglecting. Got my Atomos but not the ichor yet. Augh. I don't think I've touched my dual Ichor since zorincoptering was a thing.

I picked the dual ichor and the miter. Maybe not the most meta-pics, but I think they'll both be enjoyable. I've already got my Dual Ichor up and going; it's a nice blast of nostalgia.

I rarely use guns and mostly melee/abilities for Steel Path and Circuit, so these were a no brainer for me. Once you have combo up you can decimate far more just no range. I've got Latron Prime fully kitted out and it bounces off everything like a rubber bullet with armour. Bo Prime incarnon is also insane.

That guaranteed Toxin proc is not to be discounted. You *could* forego crit mods and just max out status and slash or corros and watch the procs shred health. It still won't be the most viable in SP but in DUVIRI SP we get Decrees that boost damage on status procs! (+Spreading those procs to other enemies)

hey thats actually a cool gimmick. much better than the early melee incarnons

I picked the torid as first option and they are a beast. As the second is the melee that you just reviewed. Can't wait to use it with ash.

I picked up this weapon because I got a good roll on a riven for it 136.5 CD 142.7 Tox -49.8 Heavy its like a weapon that does what Nezha does but on steriods

I went for dual ichor and atamos. I haven’t looked into re-arranging my build yet, but yea, meh. We’ll see if I can make something I really like or not.

Actually, these clouds and their toxin procs do help A LOT. Think about it. Each status aids condition overload, and since most of us use viral or corrosive (I go corrosive, since I can go with a panzer & viral) now I have 03 elemental statuses plus 03 physical ones, wich makes CO scale up like a rocket. Now go with Vazarin to gather them together, or any other WF skill and you are set. This buff puts these little axes way high and I like them.

I decided to opt for the Torid and Dual Toxocyst because apparently the rumor mill is saying they're vicious so I'm giving them a go

the incarnon upgrade should have just unlocked coptering for the weapon. maybe they're saving it for a dual zoren incarnon

the combo per munition mod is actually pretty good for exalted melee weapons where it lets you easily keep stacks on your normal melee for gladiator mods, but it's far better to take praedos in that case

The Atomos is currently bugged, the 2nd evolution perks don't work at all so the the weapon is missing out on that big base damage increase. I'd suggest keeping that one for your 3rd rotation, coz every other weapon this week is really good anyway, so that hopefully DE has fixed it by then...

These are my absolute favorite weapon in the game and I can't wait to get the adapter. Will go great with my god rolled riven. 🤙

The Sancti Magistar was also a win, Sauron Cosplay ftw Wasn't keen on this week's picks, so I went with Ichor and torid, won't use the torid incarnon until after tennocon, in case they announce infested liches haha

I went with the combo chance and heavy attack perks. I gives a different play style but not overpowered just a side grade. You can build combos quickly which i like especially with naramon slam attack skill.

Love the dual Ichor, they're not lookers but they perform well, got a great riven for them, fun em with roar for thr status and its a blast

I wanted an incarnon for each weapon slot. So latron/strun, lex and now for melee the ichors

I picked the torid and the dual toxocyst and I don't know how I feel about them yet. I think I'm disappointed by the incarnon form of the torid, while it can certainly kill, it's the not the powerful poison cloud lingering for quite a while in which enemies would drop like flies.

Yeah showing the ability choices is only half the picture h when all guns have a completely different mode when evolved. And they tend to get close the stats gap across variants with the fully unlocked stats in incarnon. But not completely

Ichor are now the strongest dual swords , mod it right can go high lv ST-path survival , it can melt npc .

I actually don’t mind that they’re not the best. I’m really big on infested weapons and designs. They are my favorite which you guessed it, Saryn and Nidus are my favorite frames. Running these with Saryn is already op without the incarnon. I already picked up the Torid and Dual Toxocyst so the melee was a no brainer. Really think we need more infested based warframes.

I'm hesitant picking up all these AoE guns when self damage may or may not be coming in the distant future.

I wonder how that toxic cloud works with zephyrs tornado and archon continuity?

i would never go for combo duration yas i have a combo chance stat on my riven, but i only need 1 click for x1 to x12 combo with alchemist wraith, as long as a toxic cloud is up (wich is the case 99% of the time)

I got atomos for nostalgia sake and im not mad. Torid tho... if reckless abandonment was a gun...

I picked torrid and ichor. I considered toxocyst, but I had to go with old faves. Haven't finished farming mats yet but I'm liking the look of both. I mean dual ichor was already awesome, especially with a riven so how can ya go wrong.

1:53 why combo duration???? reach is better though, even 5 second in crowd of mobs is enough, but if u need to increase u can use primary/secondary agility mystificator depending on yr weapons, so u'll have comfortable increased range attack on inhors, and increased duration also

Took Ichor against some corpus enemies...and well, it fecks. It fecks hard. Do I need to say it a terd time?

To be reasonable, I don't believe DE will make that change, but I do believe that the wiki gang will compensate for what DE refuses to make clear in game... Again. So in theory, it should only be an issue for the first time through the rotation.

I also like dual ichor.

Idk why they’re so afraid of offering more oomph to the melee weapons, without the room clearing power of guns they won’t keep up anyway. It feels like the only genuinely good/interesting one was the ceramic dagger, with the other melee weapons basically being “only pick up for nostalgia or if you have a killer riven”

I wish I was a little more into melee combat in Warframe, I do like it but it’s kinda boring, definitely prefer ranged. Melee is more of a last resort for when I run out of ammo or when enemies are too close to me. Melee is for my get out of my face feckers moments 😂

It is just the current fad, there is nothing stopping you from ignoring it, when the primary kitguns came out, I didn’t like it much , and my feed was spammed with them, but once the hype is done it will be gone like a ghost, leaving you wondering if it ever existed

I notice at Cavalero all my incarnons listed , for some reason only my dual Ichor has a little icon in the top left of the weapon that says 'evolve" and a diagram of the 4 connected evolution nodes and a background that has a swirling motif. Anyone know why this is?

I'm already very sad for next week for Nami Solo. I've waited months for news on it and when Duviri launches I have to wait 5 more weeks. Now I'm certain it's gonna be even worse than all the other weapons. It won't even register on the weapon category and it will feel so lackluster. Hoping they don't do her dirty we need a top tier Machete
