Why these guys aren't more prevalent in Thrash Metal I just don't know. For example: I myself only found out about these Gentlemen YESTERDAY! Why they only appeared in my feed just now boggles the mind. Still, at least I know about them now. They're so VERY original, too; listening to a couple of their albums I find within the songs things I haven't heard anyone else doing. I'm 57 now so I guess I'm blessed to have found them at all! The 90s were a period where the major players in thrash metal (Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer, Testament, Overkill, Exodus, etc) were all releasing material that was not as pleasing to the ears as their earlier albums, or just disbanding alltogether. But I must say, eventually each and every one of those same bands released much better material later in their career

@@8755drb Slayer did decent album -Divine intervention 1994. Kreator exploded Thrash Metal back to life with -Violent revolution album 2001 and lots of new Thrash bands appeared after that.

Thrash didn't die in the 90s. Bands still toured and released albums, it's just some bands experimented musically, playing slower tempos with a groove. Slayer, Kreator, Sodom, Anthrax, Megadeth, Destruction and Testament still released some heavy records and we can't overlook Pantera.
