Hate picking, they expect this for 8 to 12 hours. Lifting, bending and they need at least 15 pallets per day by ppl not machines. My back was in so much pain it’s crazy

Did this type of work @ night shift for 3 years . It takes its toll on you trust me. But with the right staff you’re fine…. But the Uber life is so much better 😎

I did this out of high school for a few years and built some serious wealth. This is a great starting job for young adults to do for a few years! Great money right out the gate. Especially if you’ve only got a high school diploma or GED. You can make damn good money at a young age. Just don’t stay forever. Your body and mental space is way more important than a corporate company ever will be. They’ll find someone to replace you right away.

now try this 8 hours and with a trolly that you have to push it that is my first job in the netherlands as a migrant and want to move on as fast as posible

I have the same job picking beers. I like it and pays really good. My company starts you off at 24/hr and I hit my numbers easily so I don’t really need to work too hard unless they are giving out beer neon signs for top picker and going for it.

im 53 and doing it. Ive always had hard jobs. I got overweight and was drinking a lot. I had to cut drinkout out almost completely and am in better shape now. I can outrun some of the younger guys. I admit thoh my feet hurt and my back sometimes. Im looking to move on. I used to make a lot more doing sheetmetal work but believe it or not the construction job was even worse than this so I was not real challenged to picking but doesn't mean im not feeling it. I dont know what im going to do at this age besides work till I fall face first on the concrete and call it.

Order picking sucks but for the right company it's good money and it's a good workout

I quit this job. They never pay you enough for it where I am. Why brake your back for something like this when most other trades pay twice as much. Fuck warehouse. 😂

I just quit a facility to this same resemblance but I wish that they had the product laid out and guys were able to pick from the floor rather so much the racks and the floor.. but then again the facility (also distributing liquor) isn't even fit for the production work lmao but hey that's RI for you - a MA girl 😂😭😂😭

Yes brother you got some skills, looks like a big warehouse too is this in the USA? I work in warehouse in the UK building kitchens, hard work is the best work, blue collar for life 🔧
