I think the silk dress comes in a V-neck version, too. That’s the one for me; high necks, even in silk, get on my nerves as my day progresses. Every time I sit, high-neckline dresses ride up and dig into my neck. I can’t seem to remember to hike up the dress a bit before I sit, which can help.

Oh nooo!! I also have difficulties not keeping everything I show. Since some of these pieces are real classics and would be actually great and useful purchases. Go for the 38, they’re more flattering a bit loose like that. It’s one of my oldest tricks, wearing slightly looser fits makes people perceive me as thinner than I really am. Tight fits do the opposite, they can visually “add” 20 lbs. or more.

Oh, you got the brown trousers! I’m envious, I just saw them two days ago, but they’ve sold out in my size. This is a must-have item for me, so I’ll keep trying. I love the black, too, but black isn’t a major hue in my wardrobe, it looks like only ivory tops will work with these, in either color. I know, I’ll get the matching shirt for more outfits! I’ve been buying in sets more, they’re so handy, always look great and are more available now than in the last 30 years. At least with great brands like Toteme, they do restock and keep their styles for a few years. Another good reason to shop better brands, but for me, it’s mostly about fabrics. I can’t wear synthetics, even in blends. If I can, I get what I want in silk, the Queen of fabric fibers. Tip for sets: be sure to wash both pieces together every time one piece needs washing, if the top is washed more than the bottom, or vice versa, they will no longer match after a while. Even the most gentle laundering can cause slight fading, especially with darks.

I love your taste! Thank you for your wonderful videos, they are extremely helpful. I bought Toteme crinkle dress for vacation in Spain and ended wearing it to a dinner once. After that I noticed the crinkles got smoothed out in the lower back (mostly over the bums). Do you know if there is a way to restore them? To make the fabric crinkled again? I haven't yet. I was thinking you should definitely contact Toteme costumer service. They are slow but they normally do answer. This dress is not a cheap one and the fabric should last for ever really. This is not acceptable and should be reported. I would love if you could keep me posted. 🫶🏻

We strongly advise to not go against the care instructions stated on the care label. The hand wash symbol means that the garment should be washed physically by hand and not in a machine on a "hand wash" program The crinkles will come out with heat and wear and this is why we recommend to store crinkled silk garments "twisted" in a knot. The trinkles will not come back from you washing i and it will actually remove all the crinkles unless its done in the correct way. Wash the dress in cold water and use a silk detergent, gently squeeze the excess water out and twist it through out the drying process,

I like it very much. May I ask how tall and heavy you are?

At the moment I must have around 60 kg. I don’t weight myself but I must have gained weight since everything is a bit tighter than usual 😅.

I almost always size up in shorts to get that laid back and cool look, so here I’d size up too. Thank you so much for watching. 💕

I got the silk pants. Also, got them in a bigger size, but they were too big. I returned them as I didn’t care for the color. It’s not a rich chocolate brown as it appears here. It’s much lighter. It’s like a military brown, which looks terrible on me. I do love the silk dress though!

The black COS dress, it's a similar one you linked? Because I looked at the one on COS and I was like ok it looks better in your video but I realised yours doesn't have the cut out designs in the skirt, (broderie anglaise), the one you have is really nice, I feel like I saw it on cos but didn't get. I'm just going to watch if you have an item now because you style them better and show the potential, I don't know what it is about their product photography but one has to use a great deal of imagination to understand how some of them can look wearable and stylish, it's better for me to meet a product in the store first without seeing their images 😅

The exact style of dress I am wearing here is not available anymore. The one I linked is their new version which has even the same composition as the one I am wearing. But yes it is not exactly the same. I agree with you, I also have difficulties with how some items are showcased online and this is the reason why KZread videos come handy 😍.
