The problem with warden is in fallen mode, alot of enemies cannot be stunned cause they have energy immunity.

Sledger>>>warden + all stun towers

I disagree, a lot of enemies have energy imunity, meaning warden cant stun them, also the sledger is great for stuning whole groups of enemies

in my opinion, sledger is a more well rounded tower, kinda like a support-dps tower. while warden on the other hand is a really effective tower, the effectiveness only works on certain type of enemies, like fast and high hp enemies. sledger can handle with all enemies pretty good, warden can handle some enemies amazingly.

I think warden is better, cause he has more damage and less firerate. They both can attack multiple targets and stun, so i guess warden won

Bro, people be always telling me to bring warden instead of gladiators because warden can clearly do a better job that just pisses me off so bad plus they freaking nerfed gladiators

2 things to note about sledger:

I actually hate how people say Warden is better because he has more dps. Sledger isn't an offensive tower, but more of an offensive support, he might not have as much dps as Warden, but his stun effect is something only the Warden can dream of. I also only thought just now about how Sledger can hit multiple enemies and once thus increasing the dps.

You forgot the fact that at other difficulties than molten or normal, most enemies have energy immunity which means they can’t be stunned by energy attacks. However, only a handful of enemies have freeze immunities.

You should also consider that most of the enemies are immune to eletricity rather than ice. And when they has ice immunity, they normally has eletricity immunity as well anyways. Sledger can stun a bigger variety of enemies

Sledger gets lead penetration in lvl 2 for 1,1k and warden gets lead penetration in lvl 3 for 7,1k. So sledger is better than warden for hardcore or for a event with leads enemies

I was thinks about this for some time and I never though about sledger dps to be that high… insane

Sledger’s aoe ability makes it able to hit the hidden enemies if other enemies are in its range. This also works with balloons.

Have to disagree, Sledger as soon as it reaches lvl 3+ is just magnitudes more useful than the Warden. Warden's stun is completely inferior which is the main purpose of the tower and it even makes Sledger better agaisnt bosses. The DPS of Sledgers at lvl 4-5 is also very efficient, because of the pierce attack which you mentioned

The sledger is just a cheaper and more effective warden that has more dps in most occasions, and the no hidden detection doesn’t even matter much since the only hidden enemy in this whole game that’s a serious threat is the hidden boss
