@@chummycharmander962 Nah. Honestly I have this thing about Mobs in general, while yes they are meant to kill players, that's only half of what they are. I think every mob has a good side to them when around other entities besides players and villagers. Just like we are attached to the curiousity of unique creatures, perhaps so are they?

The warden is a misunderstood creature, it’s being basically held hostage by the sculk above it and when you let it free by activating the shrieker three times, it’s confused and angry because of its blindness, but the warden does have a soft spot as shown in this video, players are just invading the wardens home and the warden protects his home rightfully so

It's agressive and will kill any mob, axolotl included. He protect the skulk. He is not confused by it's blindness he was born with it. He only use sound and have specialised organ that help him to move with only that. He is a being composed of a patchwork of souls skulk can absorb soul and spread with the death of any creature (living or not). It's a mindless creature a litteral warden, protecting the skulk. An invasive alien like species that came from another world. A being that destroyed entire cities, forcing them to flee or live in fear. (Deep dark cities, weird portals that look like him). He is not evil, nor good He is here to protect the skulk and kill anything that came to close. A being summoned by the skulk, who combine itslelf with the soul it has eaten to create a body to defend themselves itself, the warden.

You know, it’s actually theorized that the warden used to be an older iron golem model that was corrupted by the plagues of the deep dark so seeing the warden being friendly with other mobs is actually pretty heartwarming.

Actually sculk isn't any type of corruption ancient builders used them to produce light and other things as u can see there are lamps near the giant portal in ancient city which is powered by a sensor

Do he will like kill himself create a big space with another warden ? In the sculks ? You know the creepers explode and destroy the blocks , well I think if the warden kill himself in a sort of way he can corrupt all the blocks around him and make a chance that another warden spawn in . I don't know if you understand it but he look like a sort of parasite or a virus

Me summoning a Warden with no AI: Improvise, adapt, overcome.

I think deep down, the warden doesn't want to kill anyone. The souls in his heart are filled with constant negative energy, making him hostile, with the one thing he's been made to do, guard the remains of the deep dark city.

Well the Sculk fungus basically holds the souls of dead mobs, so that speaks for itself.

I also think that warden doesn't want to kill everyone. But I think that he is a slave, actually commanded by sculk blocks. And the sculk blocks are used by the source of souls, the wither ofc. I don't think that the wither we summon with soul sands and wither skeleton skulls is the real wither. I think that they are just weaker clones of wither.

Fun fact: axolotls can heal every parts of their body even their brains

No words spoken yet this character arc is more touching than an actual movie

I actually wish Wardens were like this in Minecraft, being a relatively peaceful giant. It would be cool to have a more peaceful variant or type of Warden, that would be a neutral mob that protect smaller passive mobs and may protect players from hostile mobs, (unless a player attacks it.)

They could also attack you with different abilities, much stronger and faster, like imagine how cool it would be if a zombie used the sonically charged shriek and then dying/exploding due to the immense amount of power

I have a theory I have crafted. The warden was a golem for the deep dark cities. He was a beloved member as he fought of the hordes of zombies and protected the inhabitants, and helped during their festivals. Then, one day, a huge horde appeared. He tried desperately to stop the zombies but alas, it was too much. One by one the villagers died, their souls embued unto the stone their lifeless bodies fell upon. The golem fought valiantly to try and save them. But as the last of them died he lost hope, and he suffered the same depressing fate the villagers had. He later was revived by the skulk that had since grown, but his heart and soul had turned rancid, he'd grown hostile and uncaring to those who dare trespass in his village. He used to see players as kind, helpful beings, but has since only seen them as equals to those who wiped his village out those years ago.

This gives me an idea for possible lore for the warden... What if the warden is actually just there to defend the natural life within the cave systems and to protect their environment from pesky intruders mining resources and taking the creatures from their natural homes..? Would be interesting.. though don't really think it's the case it's a good idea.

Realmente el warden si tendría sentido que pudiera revivir mobs, puede capturar y regresar el alma de un mob como lo hace en la animación, estaría bien que reviviera ajolotes siempre y cuando mueran cerca de el para que atrapé sus almas y las regrese al ajolote muerto, eso le daría un sentido a por qué tienen un parecido en los colores si lo inviertes

Podria ser que el warden cuando era posiblemente una defensa hecha por los que vivian en las ciudades del deep dark Este fuera capaz de revivir a un ser vivo si este mataba a alguien inocente y que las almas que se encuentran en su torso son las almas de otros seres vivos que hayan muerto ahi o haya matado Si sabemos que el skulk se alimenta de las almas para esparcirse no lo veria improbable

The Warden and axolotls bond over one thing, brutally murdering everything in “sight”.

This is wholesome. Warden is a hated mod and i understand why. But i think that cuz of his blindess he thinks everything wants to attack him and he just self-defend'esies himself. And the reason why he revive's the axolotl is cuz he isnt evil and tries to revive what he can. But for now he only can revive small Creatures. Like axolotl's. Or he can only revive his "ancestors", those bieng probably axolotl's
