Warcraft 3 storyline contains probably the two most beloved characters ever created. Illidan and Arthas. Their story is told through in-game cinematics in Warcraft 3. You have a total of seven campaigns, 3 of which are focused around arthas and 2 around illidan. If you have time to check those out im sure you appreciate the storyline masterpiece which old blizzard created and find it very worthwhile

Ahhh I'm so happy I recognise both their names, I'm getting better with the characters, Illidan being a personal favourite of mine due to his Voice Actor.

This intro is from 2002, 21 years ago. They publish this on youtube on 2009 tho.

2002!? That's insane. I'm sure a similar situation happened on another WoW video I watched where someone pointed out it was even older than I originally thought, that's incredible.

Since you mentioned Warcraft is RTS and I know you are a LoL player, to the best of my knowledge, its Warcraft where the MOBA/DOTA genre really has spawned. WC3 had this map creator feature and people came up with different map/game ideas. One of them was DoTA and there were many similar too, but I guess that version became the most popular. I recall playing such maps. In the end it went to come as its own games(LOL, DOTA2 and others). Its funny to think, it was all driven by players ideas and players preferences to come to today :), but yeah, Warcraft 3 plays major part in it

Yeah I think I remember someone mentioning that to me some time ago. RTS to me is some of the best gaming periods i've had it's such a shame though that modern day gaming isn't really one filled with RTS anymore. I miss the old classics like Age of Empires and Command and Conquer. Halo wars, with it's flaws, was even still one of my favourite RTS games to date. I just wish some time game dev's decide to dip their toes back into the RTS scene, I'm all here for it :p

@@adamsreactionzone agreed, but you know todays commercial times, what the masses would play and pay is whats being created. A good example is how blizz denied for years creating classic WoW, but once fans proved them they want it done and thats that, blizz came up with classic. Back in the day I suppsoe it was far easier to create a product which can saticfy the market. You could have an indipendant studio of few spawn a major series. Now its only big companies able to develop a product which will meet todays standards. Prolly there actually are some rts games worth playing and checking out there, they just dont have the potential to advertise and you really need to dig in to find what you look for

Yeah someone else mentioned that, it's crazy to think it's 21 years old. Some companies couldn't even produce that quality these days and even some triple A title game developers have released some awful looking stuff in recent years 🤣
