I especially love how they took each mission's briefing from Warcraft 2, and put them back in as active dialogue. . . at 95% word for word.

I’ve never played Warcraft 2 and never knew the story. This is perfection. Thank you for this. Looking forward to Human Campaign.

This story is wrong though... Lordaeron didn't fall. The human armies managed to pin down the orcs and Doomhammer took a gamble to take an isolated army for expedition. With the help of the trolls they attacked Quel Thalas and caused trouble for the elves to stall them and then went straight to the Lordaeron. At this point Guldan betrayed and the Horde lost both its casters and undead warriors. The siege of Lordaeron thus predictably failed and much of the orc elite soldiers couldn't evacuate as they were deep behind enemy lines. Then the human armies fought the orcs step by step back. The last battle was in the Blasted Lands where the dwarfs subordinate to Ragnaros live. There Ogrim won the duel against Marshal Lothar and killed him but was gravely injured. But the battle was a defeat for the orcs. At this point the orcs already had started to lose the power of the demon blood. Turalyon became the leader of the alliance army after the battle and pursued the orcs back to Gate of Darkness. The orcs retreated and closed the gate. Doomhammer and a large number of orcs were left behind as prisoners of war, living in concentration camps. These are the orcs freed later by Thrall that followed him to Kalimdor and founded Durotar

Wow, this is gorgeous. More love and care went into this than the last 10 years of official Blizzard releases combined.

Wonderful remake of Warcraft 2! However I wish Samuro and Burning Blade, so as Kilrogg and Bleeding Hollow were more often. But I do not complain. It is very good remake.

Samuro is never mentioned until WC3 and Kilrogg is only mentioned in WC2 via text, never seen in the game.

Dude this is dope. It’s cool to see classic characters in 3D setting. Varok was someone I never knew much about because he was never in WC3.

This is how I always say it my mind. Maybe my favorite computer game ever and this perfectly captures the absolute pinnacle of Blizzard’s storytelling

4:10:44 I find it interesting how Gul'dan just lets Zul'jin go like that, after the troll warlord literally curses him in his face. And then Gul'dan just sits there in contemplation as Cho'gall rambles, as if pondering Zul'jin's words, even though they have zero meaning to him. I think a small piece of the Warlock did respected Zul'jin in his own way. Given how Gul'dan's reasons to seek power is to get revenge on all of existence itself for causing his misfortunes, like how misfortune fell upon the Amani, they're as determined to destroy the elves as Gul'dan is in seeking absolute power.

Since this came out in 96/97?? I’ve probably played several thousand hours and missed years of sleep. Just one more hour/raid/mission etc How the gaming world has evolved! I remember playing pong in 74…… Now I have an Occulus Quest 2 and it’s incredible to have lived thru the evolution of gaming. Especially the SNES/NES in the 80s. Then 486dx pc in the 90s followed by PlayStation and XBOX

blizzard needs to do this for all the warcraft games, i wish i could play these on my warcraft 3 reforged.

Once again fans do it better. Now this is a proper modern Warcraft game. The music, cutscenes are characters are all on point. Reign of Chaos was my first introduction to Warcraft. Love that game. I do not know how lore accurate this remake is but it does not matter. It is entertaining and respectful enough to the source. Thank you for making this complete walkthrough movie style as it allowed me to view this great game. I subbed to your channel and i am eagerly awaiting the human campaign. I hope one day the rights go to skilled people and we get some kind of epic show based on Warcraft with this kind of quality.

Dang, the production quality of this remake is really good! Is there an Alliance campaign too? Or a Warctaft 1 remake by the same people?

All they had to do was a reskin of WC2, but they went above and beyond. This is truly great, I wish Blizzard could do stuff like this. Small detail: Amani are supposed to have a cuban accent (based on Tony Montana) instead of the jungle troll Jamaican accent. You can go back to WC2 to confirm this

It was awesome, played through it in a few days :D The only thing I was a bit sad about was they didn't make the end lore friendly. The Horde never won the war, they could have, they were reaaaaally close. But my hopes were kinda unreal, I hoped for warcraft novels adaptation, this is supposed to be warcraft 2 campaign and it serves great being exactly that!

Huh i completely missed the quest with deathwing/Alex, do they plan on releasing the human campaign? The time you spend in Zulaman drove me almost nuts btw.

Does this version have a lot of gameplay throughout, or just gameplay to get across the events in the story? I don't want to miss any dialog but there's a shorter cinematics compilation that's only 2.5 hours compared to this one with 6 hours. Which version should I watch for the story?

This also features some gameplay but mostly focussed on all dialogues but cinematic version you mentioned probably didnt capture in-game dialogues.

Something to keep in mind is the Horde campaign in Warcraft 2 is mostly non cannon. Only snippets of it are used in the story.

Fully agree :) They would make a much better work with Warcraft 3 remake than this.

If the human campaign gets made, those anyone think Alterac would be the main antagonist, helping the Horde and sabotaging the alliance fir their own benefit over everyone else

If I ever get reforged I'll play this campaign first before the reforged campaign.
