I stopped playing wat robots 1 year ago and I played yesterday my orkan spectre did nothing .. the game was better before Pilots were the beginning of the end

Damn..... Back then an orkan spectre I would describe as pay to win and overpowered. None of my bots can cope with it back then. Now it's basically the puncher orochi but the old orkans are now worthless

Really shows how quickly the meta and game can change, I remember when my MK2 Level 12 Raijin would demolish servers, the shield could almost never be broken and even if someone bypassed the shield, they didn't do en damage to me and I would simply kill em with either thunder or some other weapon I don't remember. Good ol days man

Even kumiho could counter orkan spectre back in the day🥲,missed those days

I’m pretty sure I wasn’t the only person screaming at manni to not deploy any other robots just to see the damage those orkans did :’) Sadly I reinstalled the game a 2 days ago with the spectre orkans equipped and I’m overwhelmed with how many new things are in the game honestly. I would really love to get a detailed video of all the new equipments/robots , the drone (I know nothing about the drones honestly like what do they even do?) New modules etc.. Great video tho manni! Really saddened by the results of what was once the meta weapon back in my era. Orkans rip👏🏽

true orkans used to be rlly rlly powerfull and now it's like it doesn't even matter. also drone basically add effects to ur robots like it can make it so that maybe it can apply lock down or maybe suppression and now with the new drone you can put this micro chip that gives your robots absorbers and i rlllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyy hate those it removes the fun. :(

I have won Retro revenant, revenant, cruel orochi, 6legendary pilots, 2punchers, 2banes, and an incinerator, plus more! I don't really understand the drones yet either tho barley unlocked them

Hey Manni, I noticed you talked about how slow the rockets travel but they aren't moving slow. The robots are just moving fast because nobody uses the Leo, griffin or Lancelot anymore, or at least not as often.

Reminds me of the good old days, the first year of this game were imo the best mobile game ever. They kinda ruined it with pay to win stuff recently, I wish there was an old build we could play, kinda like the test server

I run Raven with Mk3 Tulumbas + Pin to boost damage with B chip while using Shield Breaker module. Regardless whether enemy's purple shield chip is installed, using shield breaker boost damage and fire bypass purple shield

I use Raven full Molots mk3 & drone dmg + module use chip + lockdown + nuclear amp, works well 4 grey weapon even on masters..

There is a clear reason for this, Manni. They bring a weapon or a robot into the game with a lot of power, and when they have milked enough and there is nothing left, they eliminate it completely. And this cycle repeats itself, and this is how they survive.

@@hychyc8240 it’s been so long since Fafnir and Orochi were released and they didn’t get a nerf right? Now the meta balances itself, with quantum radar and quantum sensor for titans keeping orochi balanced, and Hel, Skadi and Snaer keeping Fafnirs balanced

ye they nerfed them into oblivion, yet they did not revisit them when introducing these new powerful weapons for any balance. ALL 300M rockets suck so bad now that 500M rockets out perform them. It used to be the other way around because you were sacrificing range for bigger clips and faster RoF. Thing is that part is still true overall but they nerfed the clip size by a little bit but the reload by a whole lot. In todays Drone/Bot abilities, they need a beef to even be usable. Master/Champs probably wouldnt use em much, but they would be Decent & Balanced.

This setup actually works for me in expert lol, definitely not in champion tho.

the OG OP weapons back in the day, it's still good but with the introduction of freeze rockets, orkan exodus and pinata fell short when it comes to performance, today even punishers and avengers are better

I remember playing with an ao jun a couple days ago and a orcan spector absolutely decimated me

I remember when the orkan specter used to be overpowered and the only thing that could counter him were the fujin and the anchile lancelot, now i left the game after 4 years becouse everything can stealth and has purple shields while orbital strikes rain down to finish you if nothing has teleported behind you already

FYI the haechi was the only thing that could counter the spectre Lance was too slow so you would just drop the shield in no time while running and fugin had to stay immobile to fight back and have a chance and not to mention it had to deploy bastion mode to recharge blue shield

To keep up with the game they need to be buffed 10% on damage reload twice as fast and be able to hold twice the amount that way you can keep putting damage down range

manni you should make a video addressing and criticizing Pixonic about all their wrong doings, which includes incredible lag, p2w, and the economy. Once the dash bots were released, Pixonic has been constantly releasing new and overpowered robots every month or so, and nerfing the ones that were overpowered before. If War Robots didn't lag this hard, maybe the Orkans would have actually done something, and this game has literally been lagging for years now, and Pixonic isn't doing anything about it. Lastly, the economy. I remember a few years ago, you used to get 40 gold for each quest, there was only one operation pass with more free rewards in it, you got more loot after a battle, and you could produce 400 components of a robot or weapon in 3 days. Pixonic really needs to know that they're killing war robots

i feel like the issue is more with the drones and i do wish drones could be removed. (or at least the f-type chip)

When I used to play war robots regularly back in in the day I spent so much time to get the best weapons and decent robots and now I came back after a few years and all my weapons and robots are useless and I can't play the game at all

They work well on a scorpion, empty quick so you can port back before stealth runs out, charge up while waiting to jump again and bypass shells shields. So it all depends on what your using it on and how your using it. They are also cheap and quick to upgrade.

I find it the only way to hit someone properly only point blank range to ensure full firepower unload on enemy, and make sure your target It's not a high mobility meta robot, you will waste 10 minutes firing them.

@@merimackara It does if you don't have a credit card... Sonics and other t4 stuff cost a massive amount of silver. Besides, shotguns are still a massive amount of gold. The only early game scorpion you could run would be like toxin punisher t if you managed to pull a toxin from the special delivery, or cryo pinata on steam.

the orkans and exodus are both groundbreaking with assasins and players in bronze - gold league whereas terrible in meta because the newer bots all have really godlike abilities and drones , motherships but players with lower level don't have those types of robots as they only have slow moving tanks and low lvl bots which are a prey to this

I wish pixo made orkans how they used to be when they were op and strong. They wouldn’t be the top but they’d be decent to run and you can get some good dmg in. They should also add more rockets and a MUCH faster recharge time

Manni, I think Pixonic should maybe do something like-- when you upgrade a weapon it also upgrades the refill time(like makes it faster)-

Hey Manni! Enjoy your videos! I watch all the time. You mentioned that you lose firepower or missed alot of hits because the enemy robots are moving? Best possible outcome for the most hits scored, is to lead the target. Noticed that back before all of the vamps, modules, pilots, and the other associated stuff. Best way to understand is watch videos on skeet shooting with shotguns. Lock onto your target, then start aiming left or right, in front of them, using the red box/crosshairs as your reference point. The faster the target, the more lead you apply. Trap shooting even applys as well. Fast moving target away from you or towards you. Closer they are, less lead. Check it out, you'll see that it works.

The lead method works with all old school weapons...zenit, orkan, tulumbas, molots, avengers, and the large autocannon...Can't remember the name at the moment. 😁 Basically when you lead the target, the target runs right into most of the shots. Example of that when you did a stealth jump with a orkan spectrum diagonally, and the enemy target was retreating in a diagonal fashion away from you....you can see the rockets curving towards the target, yet hit behind him. Your target box was behind him.

For sure the orkans needs more buff

The 3 orkan types need a reload and ammo pool beef. All the new shielding wasn't taken into account after the last nerf of the orkan and the introduction of drone effects. Note how the new rockets penetrate ancile.

but I find that when paired with damage multipliers such as are available with Raven's specialty, active module damage boosters, and certain drone chips, in-game play using the orkan can be timed and practiced so that you are a formidable opponent. It just takes practice, the practice that validates a pilot.

I miss old WR, when Orkans + Pinatas basically erased anything with the classic Death Button

Pixonic once did a skirmish where we used the old meta robots and weapons before they were nerfed like storm shock train and even the specter with 5 sec stealth I hope they do one again but includ the orkan in them to see how powerful they used to be

They are surprisingly meta when equipped on the scorpion.

i think pixo shld really buff (or "un-nerf") older weapons like orkans, gust, storms etc like un-nerfed orkans wouldn't be 1/4 as good as cryos which slows down enemy + more damage due to freezing which ALSO got a damage buff and a shotgun that literally deals unrepairable damage with much more sustained firepower compared to storms and stuff also the sparks and quarkers

Orkans for very close combat like with Skorpion maybe. you pop into the shield of standing or locked enemy, unload and step back

The Exodus' reload is longer than the recharge of the Revenant's ability, there's no way you're gonna finish reloading before he jumps on you again.

Every time manni come up with some weird set up everyone: " oh is that manni with some Orkans, yeh lets ignore him like the Pattern with magnum "

I remember I had this same setup and it was unstoppable it felt amazing but now ..... OwO

To show if they have a absorber they could put a small line on the robots health bar just like the last stand

I'm currently at expert rank and I use orkan and rime(which I got from the black market) for my scorpion setup But it's still a dangerous treat to most of the players with the drone damage buff In short, it's not a bad weapon, it's just overshadowed by the power of cyro. But the mainly reason is that I don't really have time to make two more cyros lol

The cryo itself isn't also viable these days. You won't find many People running it in higher leagues.

few years ago every robot used to be different every robot had different features different abilities some had stealth some had shields some had healing powers some robots had so much health some robot had so much speed every robot was unique there was so much verity you had to come up with a stragedy to kill a certain robot according to his ability but now every robot have stealth every robot have healing every robot have shield there is no verity anymore nowadays you dont stragedy to win you just need to have a max hanger with meta robots and wepons every wepons used to have different perks energy wepons were good against energy shields rockets were good against physical shields but it doesnt matter now bec nowadays everyone have observer shields and reflector shields

Finally content with old school robot and weapon. I miss this so much

Manni, you have to take account that you were fighting with mk3 ravenent with nebula drone which is most powerful tank right now . considering that he had 700k HP , you did decent damage (almost 330 k damage in initial burst) to that bot however keep in mind he was using advance repair unit which give him 66 % resistance on top healing him . so try that setup on orochi against different bot see the result you would not be disappointed at-least Love Your Content By The Way.

I still remember that back on the old days when there was a griffin with 2 orkans and 2 pinatas you had already the win

Manni try Typhon with orkans instead (and maybe shield breaker or anti stealth to kill orochis more easily or to ignore shields) because you can lock the enemy down making it much easier to hit. Spectre and leech just suck right now, and they’re not suited for orkans which are even worse.

Exodus is good when used correctly a tank is its weakness for every rocket due to the recharge keeping you from consistent damage

This is the exact same issue with the titan beta weapon Rupture, the rocket reload is god awful and it's impossible to push thru with an encounter when ur ammo has depleted

I guess the splash damage being greater and having 200m more range kinda makes up for it but still the reload is way too slow to be effective anymore

(the orkens)btw i use this weopon a lot to know that all of those shots need to count you cant keep missing.and that the most important thing is that its a close range weapon witch is why its slow but love your thouts on this.Didn't know people didn't like it.

I'm still using them on Rogatka. Because I don't have anything else. Also helps if you level them lol.

I run an orochi with two exodus and 3 nuclear amplifier. took a second to get used to the slow reload. toast any shells and anything that dosen't fly. very cheep after this last update

Gosh I thought this would be better because I have the orkan spectre and it destroys fafnirs, shells and orochi.

I use them and they are working fine but must be paired with something that fire's constantly and they work better with the Grifin

Punisher on hawk with necleons is a badass build... I run it in champ league... reload sucks but by the time hawk lands guns reload
