‘War of words’ breaks out between ‘woeful’ Victorian minister and federal counterpart

A “war of words” has broken out between Victoria’s Energy and Resources Minister and one of her federal counterparts over comments about the state’s gas supply, according to Sky News host Steve Price.
“Victoria’s woeful Resources Minister Lily D’Ambrosio ... has now accused her federal counterpart, a fellow Victorian Madeleine King, of acting, get this, like a Liberal on the issue of gas supply,” Mr Price said.
Ms D’Ambrosio described Labor MP and Resources Minister Madeleine King as being “more like a Coalition minister” in the aftermath of an interview which aired on ABC radio on Friday morning.
This comes after Ms King had said there was no doubt Queensland was “doing the heavy lifting in terms of gas supply” for Australia’s east coast.
“I can tell you major industries and investors are deserting Victoria, and those still in the state are convinced they are facing a bleak winter and a grim future,” Mr Price said.
“It seems Canberra has woken up to the immediate shortfall in energy supply, but one state, Victoria, is blindingly ignorant to the risky road they are now going down.”

As bad as they are, I blame my fellow Victorian voters who seem to have no concept of what having to pay $22M every single day in interest means and how that comes straight out of future funding for schools, hospitals, roads, timely and sensible infrastructure projects etc.
