@Magnus Marz Or he could read the Great Union Speech given by the Confederate VP Alexander Stephens prior to secession. In there he goes over his fellow Southerner arguements for secession and argues againt it. Nearly every arguement revoled around the issue of slavery and every arguement for secession was wrong.

+YouKnow M The Southern States declared Independence from The North because of Finacial enslavement and Slavery. The reason people enlisted was to defend their homeland from what they perceived as a foreign invader. To deny The Civil War had nothing to do with slavery is wrong.

Slavery was going to end one way or another, technology was advancing and the prices of slaves were going sky high. Majority of the south was in poverty at the time some hardly anyone specialty the fighting men of the south couldn't afford a slave even if they wanted to. Not to mention 20% of the south owned slaves which is a large number but a larger number was against slavery which to me means if the south would have won then there would have either been another civil war in the south or slavery would just die of natural causes.

@JacobVlogs That's all true. But the people in power AKA the people in the state Governments that owned Slaves declared their dissolution from The Union because of slavery. The reason people fought for The CSA is to protect their homeland, but the reasons the states left is because of slavery (as the people in charge were slave owners)

Man this game looks promising! I would love to jump in and take part in some of those battles and drills, but I already burned myself on Naval Action Early Access ;/ Do devs have some plans for the future like some progression systems to keep players busy, or do they aim at niche audience with just simulating civil war battles?

Seems like it would make sense to act in groups of 4's stabbing people, you'd get speedy kills and less overall casualties.
