Who are the "azov", are they pro-russians or pro-ukranians or they are independent ,can anybody make it clear ?

AZOV Battalion are a far right neo Nazi Militia that was established in 2014 when the "EuroMaidan" coup started the civil war in East Ukraine - Azov Battalion are part of Ukrainian National Guard. They have been active in Shelling the cities of Donetsk and Luganst for 8 years causing over 3,000 Civillian casualties. Azov Battalion also responsible for preventng the evacuation of Civilians from Mariupol as they fear that the Donetsk Peoples Republic and Russian forces will destroy them if there is no risk of Civillian casualties in new offensive. Many people in Mariupol identify as Russian and consider the Azov Battalion as "Nazi Occupiers"

Yeah I just learned about the Azov Battalion yesterday. Also the fact just before the war in 2014 the pro-russian government was overthrown by these guys originally known as Patriots of Ukraine. Now the main political group are Neo Nazis.... Weird

Pro-Ukrainian paramilitary forces. They are inspired bt WW2 "1st Uktainian SS Galicien Division" and so they are nazis. Because of their political views, they are known to commit mass war crimes, but they are also known to be excellent fighters.
