Toby 'War Dog' Bindon secured a stunning stoppage victory in his BKFC debut, living up to his fierce moniker: 'My name's the War Dog, I come for war, that's what you can expect. I always look to finish my opponent, and that's what I did.' Bindon utilized his kickboxing background to dominate in the squared circle: 'I used my experience in the bare knuckle ring to get a dominant victory. I felt free, I got into that Zen state, and I just let it flow.'
Reflecting on his preparation, Bindon shared: 'We trained our boxing, we're masters of our trade. I saw he wasn't moving his head, so I knew if I faked and came over the top, I was going to catch him.' Inspired by MMA legend Jorge Masvidal, Bindon showed off his 'Gamebred' tattoo, explaining: 'I've watched him from his bare-knuckle days to UFC. Big respect to Gamebred. He is one of the reasons why I went into bare knuckle.'
A dedicated father, Bindon fights with his family in mind: 'My kids motivate me every day. They watched their daddy fight tonight, and I did it for them and my beautiful missus Lianna.' Now eyeing a fight at his natural weight class, Bindon declared: 'I fought at 175lbs, but I want to go back down to 155 or 165lbs. Whoever BKFC wants me to fight, I'm game.'
