what kixeye should do for rolling thunder is customize the amount of experience needed to get the new vehicle or any vehicles by level range (11-15:250 16-20:350 etc.)

I started playing war commander around this event

For players around level 20 use Hercules and Paladins for ground troops with Thunderbolts for air support. Take out mortars with Thunderbolts and gun turrets with Paladins, while Hercules to fight Infantry and air units.

wow this is so cool I love what kixeye is doing with the game after a few bumps they sure stepping up there game

From what i see multiple thunderbolts... theres no way we can shoot those down without sacrificing SEVERE firepower. What i would do is go in with no air defense and just rush, hit, run, retreat, repeat. Or i would use riflemen to distract the airsupport for a attacking run or two... of course idk if its only planes defending the bases or helicopters as well.

Here's a better idea, for the top 20 players rather then a statue of Rubi, they get to play the game w/o lag or glitches. That'd be the best reward.

Anyone have suggestions for a level 22 on how to build and fight platoons effectively? Keeping in mind, of course, that I'm not fully upgraded on things. I don't have raptors yet and I'm at lvl 2 challengers. Platoon size max is 1640 and I'm pretty sure I can only attack with 1 right now. Any advice is appreciated.

I'll get whatever I can. Not sure how this is going to go.

well best strategy for this is to take AA units with u to the bases. i personally will have 6 challies, 6 gats and some dogs too

lol they have done that for all the events actually this is one of their highest in my opinion. to get the other units you needed to kill at least 25 lvl 30 bases.

I've actually didn't laggg once. Just booted twice. This event isn't bad at all. I was actually pleased. I'm aiming for the Elite Hawk, Kondor is not worth it imo.

I'm going to try a combination of attack buggies and humvees. Easily repaired quickly and can deal TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE damage if maxed out.

I see I need to restructure my platoons to include some sort of air defense...

Being a recent ADDICT to War Commander I think it would help greatly if Platoons repaired like aircraft, as I am kicking myself (forgot to click repair arrrgghh before going to bed) Won't stop the me playing, not sure troops will repair before this game ends.

bro, with what i got, i can easily mix Hercs+pallies in 2 different squads, so air controlled by the CPU will target them and get destroyed, then my pallies can swoop in with my air and total thier base ;)

theres no sound

id prefer humvees because they are easier to build and repair. Against those thunderbolts, there is not alot we can do in 1 squad against them. If it were helicopters, id try and encircle my humvees ASAP with mega tanks to try and protect them from being targeted. and if the enemy has elite warhawks ill hit a lower level base :P

The air units defending the bases are way to overpowering.. seriously one wave of twenty is enough, but respawning waves?? Can't attack base or micro if i need tons of humvees to kill the massive hordes or air...
