This is awesome. From what I've read, Comanche warriors were the most badass of all the tribes on the plains from Montana to Texas. This must have been absolutely terrifying to an enemy to hear

my 3rd great grandfather was part of a milita in comanche County that protected settlers from comanche raiding parties during the Civil War when all federal troops left Texas to fight. I can only imagine the guts it took. these guys were badass to the bone

Once in San Diego, we lived what we learned in the first cow ranch in California around 1 a.m. we suddenly. heard the native beautiful yelling or chanting for around 30 seconds and the coyotes started to howl, I have looked everywhere since then for similar native chanting or war calls and I can not find it on KZread.
