    This is awesome. From what I've read, Comanche warriors were the most badass of all the tribes on the plains from Montana to Texas. This must have been absolutely terrifying to an enemy to hear

    @@ComancheChad I drive through Comanche, TX and I get triggered driving through.. Yet my moms heritage is Choctaw.. I feel better knowing our heritage is still there and being taught! Respect!! Great Spirit… Teach this wayward Choctaw your ways and abide by your customs.

    my 3rd great grandfather was part of a milita in comanche County that protected settlers from comanche raiding parties during the Civil War when all federal troops left Texas to fight. I can only imagine the guts it took. these guys were badass to the bone

    I’m 35 miles east of the Ancient Comanche Homeland of Comanche, TX It would be sweet, to have the Cherokee, Choctaw, Apache, Comanche, Sioux, Lipan, and Tigua tribes setup Tee Pee’s doing war dances as Drug Cartels be like “Uh oh!” Then do a 5,000 performers song “Cherokee People!!!!!     Once in San Diego, we lived what we learned in the first cow ranch in California around 1 a.m. we suddenly. heard the native beautiful yelling or chanting for around 30 seconds and the coyotes started to howl, I have looked everywhere since then for similar native chanting or war calls and I can not find it on KZread.

    My ancestor was Sequoyah, Cherokee scholar. My scottish ancestor married the daughter of wurteh watts, the mother of sequoyah and the sister of chief John Young tassel. I am white but you can believe im proud of my native ancestors.

    Baldwin Parkers son Baldwin Jr was married to my gma Margaruerite Tahchawwickah Parker. He was an awesome gpa and one keen singer. He composed a beautiful comanche song. Ill post it one day

    I'd like to know where to see a powwow too... I've driven through many reservations but I guess I seemed to be looking for a shirtless Indian on a horse or something more ironic and not a guy with a baseball hat hahahah. Love the Natives

    The Comanche is the ONLY tribe that had settlers moving off 'their' land and basically giving it back, making room for the Comanche, bc they didn't want to be slaughtered! Incredible!
