Wapsi CCC Let1 RL w/ Glass Bins on recycle

Here’s a pretty cool find, Ex-Whittier CA CCC rear loader from Wapsi, I’ve known about it for a few months but wasn’t expecting to find it here, I didn’t even know who collected this town. I thought it was pretty interesting that they strapped 2 bins on the back for glass, cool idea imo. Sadly I didn’t see trash that day but I did find a smaller CCC McNeilus RL from Wapsi a while back and I’m hoping to get more footage of it and more when I go back.
Sorry about the delay, I’ve been busy with school and work but I’ll try to keep it weekly although I won’t be filming much this summer

So cool to see an old CA truck out there. I love the way they keep glass separate, ensures less contamination with the other stuff and keeps the glass easily recoverable. Great job!!

Cool glass bins! Though they wouldn't last 2 streets here lol. I'm surprised at how clean the recycle is. The guy on the back seems to be very diligant in his separation lol. Bonus points for using the kicker bar as a step for the bins

Yea I guess there isn’t much glass around that area because they were pretty full but the glass buckets weren’t. Very interesting and unique glass sorting technique
