How long did you take doxy for?

Why don’t they check for this automatically? I’ve had two failed transfers so far and feel as if my clinic should check for this sort of thing. It’s frustrating other clinics seem to be more invested in getting a successful embryo transfer.

I literally just took 30 days of antibiotics for this. Praying for success with my current FET cycle

For the 10% of patients who can’t get the endometritis cleared after multiple rounds of antibiotics, after how many cycles of antibiotics do you recommend stopping treatment to cure the endometritis and starting the fertility treatments? How many endometrial biopsies are too many? Is IUI or IVF discouraged for patients with persistent chronic endometritis?

Thank you. My wife and I are looking for answers. Wife 36 - 2 failed FET with normal embryos. Both resulting in clinical pregnancy (day 11 Beta hcg 38 and 41 before decline 2 days later. We have done so much to create the best chance perhaps assess for this condition. She was prescribed doxycycline twice a day for 5 days beginning 3 days before transfer. Thanks again will look into this and other potential causes before a third attempt.

Hello Dr. I need your help. I have spotting and chronic lower belly pain since 2014 and never got pregnant so after years of switching doctors one finally told me to do laparoscopic surgery because they thought I have endometriosis and they found out I have a lot of adhesions which couldn't be cut because it was too dangerous for my organs ( intestines, uterus etc) but the labor biopsy from 4 or 5 different places didn't find any endometriosis tissue except a low chronic infection found on peritoneum. One of my tubes was ruptured and the other one has hydrosalpinx which was kept. What is the reason of my spottings? I sometimes have 20 days in a month spotting and pain I have usually 5 days after my period which can go for 7 days. My IVF doctor couldn't explain me anything about my lab results. Do I need to do something before doing IVF procedure?

Hello Doctor..My first FET was unsuccessful so my doctor advised me to undergo endometrial biopsy then it found out that I have chronic endometritis..I took doxycycline for 2 weeks then after 2 months my doctor advised me to start another course of doxycycline before FET..Sadly,My 2nd FET was unsuccessful again..😢😢..Do i need to repeat again the endometrial biopsy?

Are false positives common with chronic endometritis? First hysteroscopy had septum removal and said negative for CE . Had miscarriage and next hysteroscopy says positive for CE. Could septum surgery cause it? or hysteroscopy itself? or is more so caused by miscarriage? Also chronic should mean present for a long time?

First cycle had zoladex before stimulation/ transfer but it failed now leuprolide is recommended ,going for this willl help in success or doxycycline will only help ?

Hello Doctor...thank you for the valuable information. I have been TTC for 4 years currently doing through IVF.I had my first FET October which ended up in MC, so we did a biopsy and it came positive . I took antibiotics for 2 weeks and was told to test again in 5-6 weeks. I repeated the test in December which came back positive again. My question is do we have to wait for 5-6 weeks before re-testing or we can go in earlier than that? Kindly advise. Thank You 🙏🙏🙏

Hi doctor, our first FET cycle was unsuccessful. I did an endometrial microbiome test which found dysbiosis but no bacteria that could cause endometritis was found. I had only 10% of lactobacillus. Does dysbiosis affect IVF success?

There is currently insufficient data to determine whether assessing the uterine microbiome is a useful test or not

I am having endrometrial hyperplasia without atypia. Endometriosis and hyperplasia are same dr? If not, will hyperplasia affects my success rate, dr?

Is 2 weeks of doxycylin the only option? My clinic gave me a z-pac prior to transfer last time, but it failed. Maybe the doxy is more effective or is it the same?

Can be cause from leakage from the fallopian tube and into the unterus.

Our fertility dr had my wife doing lupron depo. Our 2nd round failed as well after that. We just had an exploratory lap done with a few biopsy spots and no endo found. Can that lupron she was taking negatively effect our last round of IVF we did?

We use a combination of Ciprofloxacin and Metronidazole
