74% of people go in debt for a vacation?! That’s insane!! So not worth it! Why return with a tail of stress counting the days for the bill to come. Yikes!! Gracias Rachel 🌷

Seriously 😳 ?! Vacations are a want not a need !!! If I don’t have money 💰 I don’t go on vacation !! I will not go into debt for a weeks vacation that will be over sooner than later !!

We just cash funded a five day trip to Universal Studios Orlando last month. Had a vacation envelope system with us. Gas, food, incidentals, souvenirs and mad money. Stayed at a nice hotel. Free bfast free snacks, free dinner and free happy hour drinks which was awesome. free shuttle to/from parks. Even went to a concert and a few local attractions outside the park. Did everything we wanted to do And still had $$ left over that was put towards next year's vacation (Disney or a cruise) !! 😊😊 Came back with NO debt, but lots of memories.

Great video and great reminder! It can be tough to sacrifice in the short term BUT it feels SO much better to take a vacation that is fully paid for that you can FULLY enjoy! My wife and I wanted to take our two older kids (of four) to Disneyland in 2018 but we wanted to do it ALL OUT so we decided to start saving diligently in 2016 so we could do ALL of the things we wanted to and to get the full experience. It was so worth it! Take the time to save for the great vacation and you’ll never do it different again in the future. 😀👍🏻 Thanks for the video Rachel!

I don’t take vacations, haven’t taken one in years. I’d rather take the PTO payout and save it. I don’t need time off of work, if I stop working for a day or two I get sick.
