Want to breed angelfish and make money? Use this angelfish breeding setup!

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

Ahhh yeaaaah! Bringing you guys another video! This video goes over the best angelfish breeding setup possible for beginners and first timers. Breeding angelfish is simple, its being patient that is hard. Breeding angelfish can be a long process but if you know what you are doing you can easily save time and cut corners.
My angelfish breeding set up. ( minimum )
1. 75 gallon tank and above
2. 29 gallon tank.
3. 20 gallon tank.
The 75 gallon and up tank will be where you put your group of 8 or more angelfish and have them pair up. Get 8 juvenile or pre breeder size angelfish and put them in the 75 gallon tank. After that, wait about 6 to 10 months and you should have a pair. If you need more information on what type of angelfish you should breed for profit, check out this video. kzread.info/dash/bejne/oaWuuLCInZbYYrw.html
The 29 gallon tank is where you will keep your angelfish pair. A 29 gallon tank, can only hold one pair. You want to isolate the pair and keep them in their own tank because when angelfish lay eggs they get aggressive and try to hurt and kill all the other fish, so do not keep them in a community tank. I recommend keeping this tank bare bottom. Meaning no decorations or substrate. Next you will want to put a breeding slate in the 29 gallon tank. You can find the breeding slate here. www.ebay.com/itm/ACRYLIC-ANGELFISH-BREEDING-SLATE-/151042019172?hash=item232ace4f64:g:fKAAAOxy6-tR-oW-.
Next you will need to decide weather or not you want to hatch the eggs on your own or if you want the parents to raise them. I suggest hatching the eggs on your own. I highly recommend you watch this video, if you plan on hatching the eggs on your own. kzread.info/dash/bejne/f2Gby62qdNSplcY.html . IF you plan on hatching the eggs see below.
The 20 gallon tank is where you will raise your fry and hatch the eggs. Here you can learn how to do a water change for your fry. kzread.info/dash/bejne/k6iZpqWBqNuWeLA.html .
Here you can learn how to hatch baby brine to feed your fry. kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZWts0LNritzPerA.html . Here is you can order baby brine shrimp. amzn.to/2vDU8lm

Infertile? If they turn white at the edges or on one side, those are screwed. They’re either infertile or fungused. Separate them from the adults and move them to another, or cover them. If they turn white, check to make sure you’ve got male/female pairs. Sometimes, fish look to be paired up, even if they’re nowhere close. Boys have a spine under their pelvic fins, females with a blunt two-tipped anal bump. Males also have longer, thinner fins compared to girls. If the eggs are still amber, try to keep them that way for the next 2-5 days. Some parents just aren’t that great.

  • @Nemesis0513

    @Nemesis0513

    4 жыл бұрын

Do they kind of smack the fry in one direction? That’s a natural “stay where I can see you” parental instinct. They will sometimes pick them up in their mouths and bring the fry back to their siblings. If they eat the fry(actually swallows them), then it’s high time you got the fry their own tank, the parents are ready to have fry again. And to answer, it depends on how they ‘hit ‘ the fry. Some actions are lethal, others not.

I made sure they were from different breeders, as my local fish store doesn’t usually sell juveniles. I’ve had them for two days, and they’re getting along fine, no fighting, and I noticed they follow each other around closely. Are they pairing? Or what can I do to help the process easier for them?

For breeding you’re good. Pairing tank also works, but you might wanna stick to 6 as opposed to 8-10. For raising tanks, the tank would be too large for the fry to adequately find food, so you want a 15, 20 gallon tank, maybe.

That’d be a waste of space and time if you do it for a career. Fry need less space than what’s in a breeding tank, but the parents can’t spawn in a rearing tank. For the efficiency, we breeders like to move the fry, since that has the least impact to our efforts. I like to keep my fish with their fry for about two weeks. If I’m pulling the fry out, I like to wait about 24 hours to see which eggs are viable(working), and then pull the breeding slate out and remove the dead eggs accordingly in another tank. Then, I clean out the dead ones and let the fry hatch out and work from there.

Glass is cheaper, acrylic is more depreciative in value, they both get REALLY cheap if they’re returned. Most of them only need a few touch ups here and there to look as good as new.

Unfortunately your instructions do not include the truth and the whole truth! In order to compete with importers that bring in Asian fish one has to have higher, healthier fish that will out perform the Asian fish! Not only this but one has to be able to market their fish. It really does take at least a thousand different things to go right than wrong for someone to be successful in producing and selling these fish especially on the wholesale market. I've learned the hard way over 30 years that it take not only a time commitment of 7 days per week but also a lot of money!!!
